Your 2023 Game Plan | Round 17

Sunday night football returns to Allianz Stadium when your Sydney Roosters host the Canberra Raiders to wrap up Round 17.

The match is set to be one of the games of the round, with plenty of talent going head-to-head across the field. Allianz Stadium has become a fortress for the Tricolours, and the Roosters will look to record another win at the venue before playing the next two home games at the Sydney Cricket Group during the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Whether you will be showing your support at Allianz Stadium, watching at Easts Bondi Junction, or cheering for the Roosters from home, here is all you need to know for our Round 17 match.

Members and fans are encouraged to purchase tickets as soon as possible to secure the best possible seat. Tickets are on sale via Ticketek.

A Steggles Family Pass is a great way to get the family to a Roosters home game, with all Steggles Family Pass purchases going in the draw to win the ultimate family experience at our Round 26 home game against Wests Tigers.  

Tickets for all remaining home games, including two SCG home games against Melbourne and Manly, are also on sale through Ticketek.


It is not too late to join as a Roosters Member, with plenty of great options available for the rest of the season. Becoming a Roosters Member is the best way to support the Club.

There are many benefits to being a Roosters member, including ticket discounts, pre-sales and access to exclusive member-only events. There are four-game Chookpen and Bronze packages available, which are a great way to show your support during the second half of this season.

Our 2023 NRLW Membership is now on sale, and are the best way to show your support for the Club’s NRLW program.

Leave the car at home or drive to your nearest train station to take advantage of the public transport included with your ticket. For those catching a train to the game, ride until Central Station then walk following the signs to the Light Rail on Chalmers Street.

You can catch the L2 or L3 lines as both stop at Moore Park. Moore Park Light Rail Station is just a short walk away from Allianz Stadium. Bus stops along Oxford Street in Paddington are within walking distance to the stadium also. You can plan ahead using Trip Planner.

After having a pre-game dinner or drink at Easts Bondi Junction, you can catch a complimentary bus from the venue to the game. The first buses will depart around 4:45pm, with post-match buses available from Moore Park Bus Terminal at Kippax Lake following the full-time siren. 

If you are driving to the game, parking is available at the Entertainment Quarter Wilson Carpark. A flat rate parking fee of $30 applies, however the Entertainment Quarter offers discounted parking at the Wilson car park by spending more than $10 at an Entertainment Quarter outlet.

The best place to be before and after Saturday’s game is Easts Bondi Junction!

Enjoy lunch or dinner before catching the Easts bus to the game, with Artie’s operating an exclusive game day menu, or book a table to enjoy a meal at Olive & Oak. There will also be a pre-game happy hour for two hours before kick off. The game day bus service will begin from Easts at 4:45pm.


The Club’s website, social media and app are the ultimate place to go for all the latest news and team updates throughout the day. The Club will publish the final team lists, highlights, match reports and post-game reactions across the weekend.

Members and fans can watch the Round 17 clash live on Fox League (Foxtel channel 502), while a live stream is also available through Kayo.
