NRL Judiciary Update: Whyte Enters Plea

Naufahu Whyte has elected to enter an early guilty plea in relation to his Grade One Dangerous Contact Charge, after being cited by the Match Review Committee in Round 18.

As a result, Whyte will he will receive a monetary fine of $1000 and be available for selection for the Roosters’ Round 20 match against the Melbourne Storm.

Following the Sydney Roosters Round 18 match against the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, Naufahu Whyte has been cited by the Match Review Committee.

Whyte was issued with a Grade One Dangerous Contact Charge as a result of an incident that occurred in the 52nd minute of the match.

Should the forward elect to enter an early guilty plea, he will receive a monetary fine of $1000. If found guilty at the judiciary however, he will receive a $1500 fine.

Whyte has until 12pm on Tuesday to enter his plea.
