Pilot Medical Update: Round 18

The Sydney Roosters squad has been assessed by Club medical staff following their Round 18 clash with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles at 4 Pines Park.

Jake Turpin was taken from the field in the first half of the match for a head injury assessment (HIA) and was unable to return. The hooker has commenced the 11-day return to play protocol.

There were no injury concerns for the remainder of players that featured in the match.

Sitili Tupouniua will undergo surgery on a disc in his neck next week. The 26-year-old will complete pre-surgery preparation with Club medical staff prior to the procedure.

Sam Walker and Brandon Smith are working to prove their fitness this week, with both playmakers aiming to make their return in NSW Cup on Sunday.
