Your 2023 Game Plan | Round 20

The Sydney Roosters return to the Sydney Cricket Ground this Saturday for a blockbuster clash against Melbourne Storm.

The contest is the first of two home games to be played at the SCG during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The Roosters have many fond memories of playing at the SCG between 2019 and 2022, including when the Tricolours defeated Melbourne in the 2019 Preliminary Final, en route to the Club's second consecutive premiership.

Whether you will be showing your support at SCG, watching from Easts Bondi Junction, or cheering on the Roosters from home, here is all you need to know for our Round 20 match!

SECURE YOUR SEAT

Members and fans are encouraged to purchase tickets as soon as possible to secure the best seats available. Tickets are now on sale via Ticketek.

Gold, Silver, Chookpen and four-game Chookpen Members are reminded that their cards will not scan at both SCG home game, hence they must redeem their complimentary ticket to reserve a seat via Ticketek.

Bronze and all other Members with general admission access can scan their Member cards and sit anywhere in general admission bays 14 to 17.  

Tickets for all remaining home games against the Sea Eagles, Dolphins and Wests Tigers are also on sale through Ticketek. Tickets to the Manly and Tigers game also include access to Roosters NRLW games, while tickets for our NRLW home game at Industree Group Stadium against the Eels are also on sale.  

2023 MEMBERSHIPS ON SALE

Becoming a Roosters Member is the best way to support the Club. 2022 Members yet to renew for 2023 should renew as soon as possible to maintain their Membership tenure.

There are many benefits to being a Roosters member, including ticket discounts, pre-sales and access to exclusive member-only events. The four-game Chookpen and Bronze packages and Supporter Membership are a great way to show your support during the final four home games of the season.

Our 2023 NRLW Membership is now on sale, and is the best way to show your support for the Club’s NRLW program.

GETTING TO THE GAME

Leave the car at home or drive to your nearest train station to take advantage of the public transport included with your ticket. For those catching a train to the game, ride until Central Station then walk following the signs to the Light Rail on Chalmers Street.

You can catch the L2 or L3 lines as both stop at Moore Park. Moore Park Light Rail Station is just a short walk away from the Sydney Cricket Ground. Bus stops along Oxford Street in Paddington are within walking distance to the stadium also. You can plan ahead using Trip Planner.

After having a pre-game dinner or drink at Easts Bondi Junction, you can catch a complimentary bus from the venue to the game. The first buses will depart around 6:00pm, with post-match buses available from Moore Park Bus Terminal at Kippax Lake following the full-time siren. 

If you are driving to the game, parking is available at the Entertainment Quarter Wilson Carpark. A flat rate parking fee of $30 applies, however the Entertainment Quarter offers discounted parking at the Wilson car park by spending more than $10 at an Entertainment Quarter outlet.

RED ROOSTER KICK FOR YOUR MEMBERSHIP

Three lucky Sydney Roosters Members will have the chance to win a complimentary 2024 membership with the ‘Red Rooster Kick For Your Membership’ half-time show.

Members must enter the draw and be selected at random for the opportunity to kick from a random point on the field, with one lucky winner scoring themselves a 2024 Membership!

HALL OF FAME

For the third time in the Club’s history, the Sydney Roosters will induct new Members in the Club’s Hall of Fame on Friday, August 4.

The event at Darling Harbour’s International Convention Centre will elevate six Roosters icons into the Hall of Fame. Roosters Members and fans can click here to secure single tickets or tables of 10 for the historic night.

2023 Roosters Members can show their Member’s card or enter the Member discount code online to get a 10% discount.

MAKE EASTS PART OF YOUR GAME DAY

Enjoy lunch or dinner before catching the complimentary bus to the game. Artie’s will be operating their exclusive game day menu, or you can book a table to enjoy a meal at Olive & Oak.

After the game, catch the bus back to Easts for a post-game happy hour, with $5* tap beers, house wine and house spirits for two hours after the game.

KEEP UP TO DATE WHEREVER YOU ARE

The Club’s website, social media and app are the ultimate place to go for all the latest news and team updates throughout the day. The Club will publish the final team lists, highlights, match reports and post-game reactions across the weekend.

Members and fans can watch the Round 20 clash live on Fox League (Foxtel channel 502), while a live stream is also available on Kayo.
