Your 2023 Game Plan | NRL Round 22 & NRLW Round 2

The Sydney Roosters will feature in two interstate matches this week, with both the NRL and NRLW teams aiming for back-to-back victories as the competition celebrates Women in League round. 

The NRL side kicks off Round 22 with a blockbuster clash against the Brisbane Broncos at The Gabba, while the NRLW team look to rain on the Raiders’ parade at Canberra’s first-ever NRLW home game on Saturday afternoon.

It is not too late to join as a Roosters Member, with plenty of great options available for the rest of the season! 2022 Members yet to renew for 2023 should renew as soon as possible to maintain their Membership tenure.

Public transport is the best way to get to The Gabba. Travel for free within the Brisbane City Council shire by showing your pre-purchased event ticket on Queensland Rail City Network trains (excluding Airtrain). Consider travelling earlier to avoid congestion. Plan your journey using the Translink Journey Planner.

There is no public parking at The Gabba. Fifteen minute parking limits apply across most of The Gabba Traffic Area on event days. Find out more about parking restrictions around The Gabba on the Brisbane City Council website.

If you're travelling to GIO Stadium in Canberra, you can catch a free game day bus or catch a standard public transport bus to the venue. There a number of car parking options around GIO Stadium, with $5.00 early-bird or $10.00 parking available.


For the third time in the Club’s history, the Sydney Roosters will induct new Members in the Club’s Hall of Fame on Friday, August 4.

The event at Darling Harbour’s International Convention Centre will elevate six Roosters icons into the Hall of Fame. Roosters Members and fans can click here to secure single tickets or tables of 10 for the historic night.

If you are planning to watch either game from the Roosters' heartland, your place to be is none other than Easts Bondi Junction - home of the Sydney Roosters!

There are great dinner options available at Easts Bondi Junction, with Artie’s operating an exclusive game day menu, or book a table to enjoy a meal at Olive & Oak. There will also be a pre-game happy hour for two hours prior to NRL kick-off.


The Club’s website, social media and app are the ultimate place to go for all the latest news and team updates throughout the day. The Club will publish the final team lists, highlights, match reports and post-game reactions across the weekend.

Members and fans can watch the Round 22 NRL clash live on Channel 9, Fox League (Foxtel channel 502), 9Now and Kayo. The NRLW game will be shown live on Channel 9 and Fox League (Foxtel channel 502), while a live stream is also available through 9Now and Kayo.
