NRLW Line Up for Round 6 vs Tigers

The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce the NRLW line-up for Saturday afternoon’s Round 6 clash with the Wests Tigers at Allianz Stadium.

Set for a 3:10pm kick-off, the Roosters will be determined to secure their fourth consecutive win when they take on the Tigers for the first time in NRLW history.

The match marks the Club’s only double-header at the venue for 2023, coinciding with the Roosters NRL team’s final home game of the regular season.

This week’s match day partner is the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest, which is celebrated during the final home game of every season.

The Steggles Roosters Charity Nest sees Roosters major partner Steggles donate $1,000 for every point the Roosters win by, with the Club also contributing $250 per point.

The Roosters’ results over the last fortnight have seen the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest exceed the $5 million mark, taking the total amount raised to an incredible $5,038,262 since 2010!

Funds raised are dedicated to supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, Children’s Cancer Institute and Children’s Hospital Foundation Queensland.

Be sure to keep your eyes peeled around the precinct for ticket sellers this Saturday, with a 50-50 charity raffle helping raise further funds for the worthy cause!

John Strange has made a few changes to the line-up this week, most notably naming Mia Wood to make her NRLW debut after Jayme Fressard was ruled-out with concussion.

Mya Hill-Moana and Otesa Pule have both been named to start following stellar performances in Round 5, with Amelia Pasikala and Teuila Fotu-Moala reverting to the interchange bench.

Corban Baxter lines up at fullback again this week, with Brydie Parker and Wood on the wings. Jillaroos representative duo Isabelle Kelly and Jessica Sergis take their place in the centres.

Tarryn Aiken and Jocelyn Kelleher continue their combination in the halves after assisting a combined total of four tries on Saturday against the Titans. Millie Boyle, Keeley Davis and Hill-Moana have been named to feature in the front row.

Pule and Olivia Kernick have been named in the second row, while Keilee Joseph rounds out the starting side at lock.

Shawden Burton, Fotu-Moala, Pani Hopoate and Pasikala make up the interchange bench, with Joeli Morris listed as the 18th player.

Grace Hamilton, Lexi Kiriwi, Lily Rogan and Tyler Bentley are listed on the extended bench.
