NRL Judiciary Update: Waerea-Hargreaves Grading Upheld

Jared Waerea-Hargreaves has tonight been unsuccessful in having his Grade Two Dangerous Contact Charge downgraded at the NRL Judiciary.

Waerea-Hargreaves entered a plea of guilty on Monday after being cited for an incident that occurred in the 56th minute of Saturday’s match against the Tigers, but was unsuccessful in his appeal to downgrade the charge from Grade Two to Grade One at the NRL Judiciary this evening.

As a result, the 34-year-old will be unavailable for a total of seven matches – as he has already entered an early guilty plea for a Grade One Striking Charge from the same game.
