NRLW Judiciary Update: Bentley & Hopoate Enter Pleas

Tyler Bentley and Pani Hopoate have entered their pleas after the duo were cited by the Match Review Committee in the Roosters’ Round 9 clash with the Cowboys.

Bentley has entered an early guilty plea in relation to her Grade One Dangerous Contact charge. As a result, she will receive a warning and be available for selection for the Roosters Semi Final against the Titans. 

Hopoate has entered an early guilty plea in relation to her Grade Three Dangerous Contact charge. As a result, she will be unavailable for two matches.

Following the Sydney Roosters Round 9 NRLW match against the North Queensland Cowboys, Tyler Bentley and Pani Hopoate have been cited by the Match Review Committee.

Bentley was issued with a Grade One Dangerous Contact charge as a result of an incident that occurred in the first half of the game.

Should Bentley elect to enter an early guilty plea, she will receive a warning. If found guilty at the judiciary panel, however, she will miss one match. 

Hopoate was issued with a Grade Three Dangerous Contact charge as a result of an incident that occurred in the second half of the game.

Should Hopoate elect to enter an early guilty plea, she will miss two matches. If found guilty at the judiciary panel, however, she will miss three matches. 

Bentley and Hopoate have until 12pm on Monday to enter their pleas.
