Paul Momirovski granted immediate release

The Sydney Roosters have today announced that Paul Momirovski has been released from the final year of his contract to enable him to join English Super League club Leeds Rhinos.

Player number 1180, Momirovski made his NRL debut with the Roosters in 2018, having progressed through the Club’s Pathway Program. He played 24 of his 60 NRL games with the Roosters (2018, 2022-23).

He also played 11 NRL games with the Wests Tigers (2019), six with the Melbourne Storm (2020) and 19 with the Penrith Panthers in 2021, including the 2021 NRL Grand Final.

“Paul is not only a talented footballer but a very good person and we would like to thank him for his contribution to the Roosters, from his time in the lower grades through to the NRL. Paul leaves with our very best wishes for the future,” said Roosters CEO Joe Kelly.
