Aiken and Sergis re-commit to Roosters NRLW squad

The Sydney Roosters are thrilled to announce that star players Tarryn Aiken and Jessica Sergis have signed contract extensions, solidifying their commitment to the Club for the foreseeable future.

Dynamic five-eighth Tarryn Aiken, who was runner-up in the 2023 Dally M count, has inked a new deal that will keep her in the Roosters' colours for the next two years, until at least the end of the 2025 season. Her football nous, skill and unwavering dedication have made her a fan favourite and a vital asset to the team.

2023 was Aiken’s first year with the Club and she completed the season by being named the Sydney Roosters’ 2023 KARI Foundation NRLW Player of the Year.

“I really enjoyed my first year as a Rooster and I know that there’s a lot more improvement in me as a player and us as a team, so I’m excited about what’s to come over the next few years,” said Aiken.

Powerful centre, Jessica Sergis, who consistently delivers standout performances, has committed to the Roosters for a further four years, through to the end of the 2027 season.

Sergis' decision to stay with the Club exemplifies her belief in the Roosters' vision and the exciting future that lies ahead for the team.

“There’s such a good feeling at the Club and whether its at training or on the footy field, everyone’s committed to pushing to get the best out of themselves,” said Sergis.

“I’m a Rooster through and through so I’m stoked to know that I’ll be here for at least the next four years,” she added.

NRLW Head Coach John Strange expressed his enthusiasm for the contract extensions.
