In Memoriam | Len Solomon

The Sydney Roosters have been saddened to hear of the passing of one of our oldest Roosters #356, Len Solomon.

On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, Len Solomon, Roosters Player No. 356, passed away at the age of 94 in Tarrigal Nursing Home, Erina. Hailing from Bondi, he initially played for the junior club Bondi United before joining Easts in 1948.

Participating in the President Cup and lower grades in 1948, Len made his first-grade debut in 1949 at the age of 19. During the years 1949 to 1950, he played a total of 20 first-grade games, showcasing his skills primarily as a lock forward but also contributing as a hooker in various grade matches.

The Sydney Roosters extend their deepest condolences to Len's family and friends.
