24-Hour Update: Round 12 NRL Line Up vs Raiders

The side to face the Canberra Raiders at 3:00pm this Saturday at GIO Stadium for Indigenous Round has been trimmed down 24 hours ahead of kick-off.

No changes have been made to the starting side, with Nat Butcher, Zach Dockar-Clay and Ethan King dropping out.

Junior Pauga and Siua Wong remain on the reserves list.

The final teamlist will be released tomorrow one hour before kick-off, at 2:00pm.

The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce the line up for the Round 12 clash against the Canberra Raiders at GIO Stadium this Saturday for the NRL's Indigenous Round.

The Roosters will be wearing the 2024 Indigenous Round Jersey in honour of player #529 Ron Saddler, designed by his granddaughter Chloe.

A proud Wiradjuri man, Saddler played 118 first-grade matches for the Club between 1963 and 1971 and created history by becoming the first Indigenous player to captain NSW.

Roosters Members and supporters will have their chance to bid on 22 player-issued jerseys, and two team-signed jerseys, which will be available for auction. Proceeds from the auction will go to support both the KARI Foundation, as well as toward Chloe's Indigenous art projects.

Roosters players will also be wearing specially designed boots for the Boots for Brighter Futures initiative, in tandem with Connor Watson's Cultural Choices Association. which will also be auctioned with all proceeds going towards the program.

Those travelling to the nation's capital will be treated to a triple header at GIO Stadium, with the Club's NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup sides taking the field from 11am.
