24 Hour Update | Round 1 NRL Line Up vs Broncos

The side to face the Brisbane Broncos at 8pm this Thursday at Allianz Stadium has been trimmed 24 hours ahead of kick-off.

Nat Butcher comes out of the Squad with Siua Wong replacing him at lock.

Taylor Losalu takes up a spot on the bench along with Zach Docker-Clay, Blake Steep, and Salesi Foketi.

Ethan King and Fetalaiga Pauga come out of the side.

The final teamlist will be released one hour before kick-off, at 7pm.

The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce the line up for the Club's Round 1 clash against the Brisbane Broncos at Allianz Stadium.

It's great to be back! Rugby league returns to the Home of the Roosters, Allianz Stadium, for our season opener.

The Roosters will welcome our new Major Partner BYD, so be sure to check out the display vehicles in the precinct!

Three players are set to debut for the Roosters; veteran Chad Townsend will start at halfback, whilst Roosters Academy products Robert Toia will line up at centre and Salesi Foketi starting on the bench.

James Tedesco once again Captains the side from fullback.
