Medical Update : Round 2

The Sydney Roosters Squad has been assessed following the Club’s Round 1 match against the Broncos.

Victor Radley was removed from the field for a Head Injury Assessment and was subsequently diagnosed with concussion. He has commenced the NRL’s mandatory 11-day stand-down.

Brandon Smith and Sam Walker have resumed partial training with the squad and are both tracking well.

Billy Smith has completed successful hip and ankle rehabilitation.

Egan Butcher is in the end stages of his ACL rehabilitation and is returning to match condition.

Xavier Va’a is 4 weeks post MCL injury and has received good reviews from the surgeon. He will recommence running next week.

Reece Foley had successful syndesmosis surgery last week and has commenced subsequent rehabilitation.

Beniah Ioelu has recommenced AlterG rehabilitation for his tibial bone stress.

Junior Pauga is completing end-stage lumbar spine rehabilitation and is returning to match condition.
