Sydney Roosters add Jayde Herdegen to 2025 NRLW squad

The Sydney Roosters are pleased to announce the signing of Jayde Herdegen for the 2025 NRLW season, completing the Club’s Top 24 squad.

The 20-year-old half has represented Queensland at both Under 17 (2021) and Under 19 (2022) levels, also earning player of the match honours in the Under 17s Queensland Country v City clash (2021). Most recently, she has been a strong performer for Wynnum Manly Seagulls (2022-2024) in the QRL Women's Premiership.

Roosters NRLW Head Coach, John Strange, welcomed Herdegen, saying: “Jayde is a quality young player with a great attitude, and she’ll add real depth to our squad in 2025.”

Most of the Sydney Roosters NRLW squad began pre-season training this week, with the full team set to assemble after the 2025 Women’s State of Origin series concludes later this month.
