Two Round 12 winners who are finding good from go head-to-head, with the Roosters hosting the Raiders in what shapes as an entertaining clash.

Missing five players with Origin duty, the Roosters young guns shone, with the club also blooding two more youngsters to debut in Benaiah Ioelu and Xavier Va'a, who needed only 45 seconds to score in their 42-16 win.

The side have been hitting their straps in recent weeks but have a tough challenge against a Raiders side who overcome the Warriors last week in tough conditions to move into second spot on the ladder.

Team News

Roosters: Rookie hooker Benaiah Ioelu will start in the place of Connor Watson who joins the interchange after initially being named on the bench after his impressive debut last weekend. Zach Dockar-Clay dropped out when the squad was trimmed to 19 players on Saturday night. Spencer Leniu will come from the bench, with Salesi Fokeki to start. Other Origin players Lindsay Collins, Rob Toia and Angus Crichton will play as named, with Egan Butcher on the bench after starting last week. Dom Young has been omitted, with the new 18th player now Ethan King.

Raiders: In a blow for the Raiders, Jamal Fogarty has been ruled out on game day, with Ethan Sanders to play halfback. Despite being named to start, Owen Pattie will come from the bench, with Danny Levi start this week in place of suspended hooker Tom Starling for his first NRL game of the season. Back-rower Hudson Young comes back in after missing the win over the Warriors on Origin duty so Simi Sasagi reverts to the bench and Noah Martin makes way and is 18th player.
