The Sydney Roosters have announced their senior representative teams for Sunday’s Round 14 clashes.

 

NSW Cup Team (Round 14):

Sydney Roosters NSW Cup Coach Brett Morris has named his team for Sunday’s clash with Parramatta at Kellyville.

Halfback Chad Townsend is out with Toby Rodwell, after playing Jersey Flegg Cup last weekend, named as his replacement,. Prop Xavier Va’a, who suffered a concussion on Sunday, is also out, replaced by his younger brother, De La Salle. Tyler Moriaty moves from the bench to start at hooker for Zach Dockar-Clay, whilst 18-year-old prop Phillip Lavakeiaho drops off the bench.

The new bench forwards are Aholoka Toia, from the Jersey Flegg Cup team, and Hayden Barton, who makes his return from injury.

The N.S.W. Cup game is the second match of a double header at Kellyville Park, with a kick off time of 3.00 pm.

Jersey Flegg Cup Team (Round 14):

Sydney Roosters Jersey Flegg Cup Coach Dean Feeney has named his team for Sunday’s clash with Parramatta at Kellyville.

Kiwi Jackson Stewart, who made his Flegg Cup debut last weekend, moves from centre to fullback with fellow Academy player Baxter Warner returning to the side in the centres. Tyreece Tait, who suffered a shoulder injury last match, is out with Kallum Weatherall-Stacey moving from the second row to the wing to replace Tait with Jackson Pennell returning to the side in the second row. Hayden Lammon moves from the second row to the bench and he’ll be replaced in the starting lineup by the highly promising Darcy Smith, on debut. Julius Mitchell returns to the side on the bench with both Kynan Toevai and Aholoka Toia (promoted to NSW Cup) dropping off the bench.

Josh Durkin moves from fullback to five eighth and Reece Foley from five eighth to halfback, with last Sunday’s halfback Toby Rodwell selected for NSW Cup duty.

The Jersey Flegg Cup game is the first match of a double header at Kellyville Park, with a kick off time of 1.00 pm.
