
The Sydney Roosters have announced their senior representative teams for Saturday’s Round 15 clashes.
NSW Cup Team (Round 15):
Sydney Roosters NSW Cup Coach Brett Morris has named his team for Saturday’s clash with Newcastle in Newcastle.
Sam Walker (NRL duty) is replaced by the returning Chad Townsend as starting half back, whilst Toby Rodwell (NSW Under 19s Origin) is replaced on the bench by Reece Foley.
In the pack Xavier Va’a returns, after missing last week with concussion, replacing Makahesi Makatoa (NRL duty), whilst Central Coast youngster Zack Visconti moves into the starting pack, with Ethan Roberts going back to the bench. Hayden Barton moves from lock to second row to accommodate this change.
The N.S.W. Cup game is the second match of a triple header at Newcastle, with a kick off time of 3.05 pm. For those who can’t get to the ground on Saturday the match will be broadcast live on Foxtel, Kayo and BarSports TV.

Jersey Flegg Cup Team (Round 15):
Sydney Roosters Jersey Flegg Cup Coach Dean Feeney has named his team for Saturday’s clash with Newcastle in Newcastle.
Kallum Weatherall-Stacey, who was injured during last week’s loss to Parramatta, is out, replaced on the right wing by Ben Taylor. Darcy Smith is replaced at right centre by Baxter Warner. Reece Foley (NSW Cup selection) is replaced at halfback by Brooklyn Rosemeyer.
In the pack Jaxson Allen (NSW Under 19s Origin) is replaced by Zac Gillett at hooker, whilst Kanaan Magele (NSW Under 19s Origin) is replaced in the front row by Phillip Lavakeiaho. Lavakeiaho’s bench spot has gone to James Khoo, who has been in good form for Glebe in the Sydney Shield.
The Jersey Flegg Cup game is the first match of a triple header at Newcastle, with a kick off time of 1.15 pm.
