The Sydney Roosters have today announced that Logan Fletcher has been elevated to the Club’s NRLW Top 24.
Fletcher made her NRLW debut earlier this month against the St. George Illawarra Dragons (Round 2) and is the first player to progress to the top grade via the Club’s female pathways. She was also one of three Roosters players recently named in the 2025 Under 18s Australian Schoolgirls team.
The 18-year-old was initially signed on a one-week replacement contract from the Club's Harvey Norman Women's Premiership squad for the week she made her top grade debut, but has now secured her place in the top-tier squad for the remainder of the season.
“Logan showed tremendous character and skill when given her opportunity in Round 2. Her performance demonstrated that she has the talent and determination to compete at the highest level of women's rugby league,” said Roosters NRLW Head Coach, John Strange.
Fletcher’s elevation coincides with confirmation that Tyra Ekepati has been released from her contract, enabling her to link with another NRLW club. The Roosters thank Tyra for her contributions to the Club and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
Fletcher’s promotion highlights the Roosters’ strong commitment to developing emerging talent through its pathways system and marks a significant milestone in the growth of the Cub’s female rugby league programs, which include the Lisa Fiaola Cup, Tarsha Gale Cup, NSW Women’s Premiership and NRLW.
