NRLW Medical Update | Round 7

The Sydney Roosters NRLW squad has been assessed by Club medical staff following the Round 7 match against the Newcastle Knights at Polytec Stadium.

Corban Baxter was taken from the field late in the first half after sustaining a left leg injury. Scans have cleared Baxter of any major structural knee damage, though she has been diagnosed with a low-grade ankle sprain. She has commenced rehabilitation and is aiming to be available for Round 8 selection.

There were no further injury concerns out of the Club’s Round 7 NRLW fixture.

Meanwhile, Tavarna Papalii has commenced the standard return-to-play protocols after suffering a concussion in the Roosters’ Round 7 Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership match against the Knights.
