The Sydney Roosters are thrilled to announce that up-and-coming forward Aliyah Nasio has inked a two‑year contract extension through the end of the 2027 NRLW season.
Nasio, 19, has been one of the Roosters’ most consistent performers in 2025, playing every game so far this season and showcasing her trademark power and work rate in both attack and defence.
A product of the Club’s Female Pathway Program, Roosters NRLW Head Coach John Strange praised Nasio’s development and commitment to the Tricolours.
“Aliyah has been outstanding for us this year. She’s a young forward with enormous potential and the way she has applied herself, whether it’s through her carries, defensive work, or the energy she brings to training, shows the type of player and person she is,” said Strange.
“Locking Aliyah in for the next two seasons is a big boost for our squad. We know Aliyah is only just getting started, and we’re excited about what’s ahead for her in Roosters colours,” he added.
