Roosters half Jocelyn Kelleher will etch her name into NRLW history this Saturday when she runs out for her 50th first-grade match in front of her hometown crowd at Polytec Stadium. The milestone will come in a preliminary final against the Sharks, making the occasion even more special for the Central Coast junior.
The two-time Premiership winner has been outstanding in the Tricolours across the 2025 season, cementing herself as one of the league’s most consistent and creative halves. Her form has soared this year, highlighted by her first-ever State of Origin series with the NSW Blues, where she came off the bench in all 3 games and in Game III and crossed for a memorable try.

The Origin experience sharpened her leadership, and she returned to club footy with confidence, guiding the Roosters through an unbeaten regular season. Kelleher spent much of the year as the NRLW’s leading point-scorer, duelling with Raiders star Zahara Temara. In Round 11 against Cronulla, she became the first NRLW player to reach 250 career points, a testament to her consistency off the boot.
Kelleher becomes the 9th player in NRLW history to hit 50 games, joining Roosters teammates Isabelle Kelly and Keeley Davis. While the number may seem modest compared to the men’s competition, its significance cannot be overstated. With the NRLW’s inception in 2018 and its shorter early seasons, 50 games equate to roughly 200 appearances in the men’s game.
Her consistency and versatility are just is impressive, having played all her NRLW games for the Roosters since debuting in round one of 2020 and has not missed a game since debuting. She has also been coached by John Strange since her junior years on the coast.
Kelleher has demonstrated remarkable adaptability throughout her career, playing every position from fullback to front row.
