The Roosters Girls are excited to welcome new talent to our 2026 Cheer Squad. In an exciting new chapter under new Directorship, we are looking for confident, engaging and dedicated individuals who can bring strong performance quality, professionalism and club pride to every home game throughout the season.

About the Role
As ambassadors for the Sydney Roosters, squad members appear at home games, club events, fan engagements, corporate functions and community or charity initiatives. We are looking for well-rounded performers who take pride in representation.
Audition Information
- Auditions for the 2026 The Roosters Girls will be held on:
- 6:00pm
- Wednesday, 17 December 2025
- Easts, Bondi Junction – 93-97 Spring Street, Bondi Junction
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the 2026 squad, applicants must:
- Be 18 years or older as of Saturday, 1 March 2026, and hold a current driver’s licence
- Be available for all Sydney Roosters home games
- Attend weekly Wednesday evening training sessions
- Be available for community appearances (both charity & paid)
- Be capable of learning routines requiring approximately 2-4 hours of rehearsal
- Display professionalism, punctuality, and a strong team-focused approach
Applicants will need to complete the official audition registration form and upload a current full-length photo. All materials submitted remain the property of the Sydney Roosters.

The audition will follow the structure outlined below
- Brief welcome and outline of the session
- Improvisation – performed in small groups (30 seconds each)
- Dance Technique – across the floor technique (jumps, turns, kicks)
- Choreography & Performance
- Panel Interview
Audition Attire
- Dance-appropriate clothing such as sports bra, crop top, t-shirt, hot pants or fitted shorts
- Comfortable footwear such as runners
- Arrive with hair out and styled, along with full performance-ready make-up
Additional Information
- Please arrive early to allow time for personal warm-up
- Only perform skills you can execute safely and confidently, the panel will prioritise clean, controlled technique within your ability
Successful candidates will be notified via email within 2 days of the audition and invited to the first training session on Wednesday 14th January 2026.
Once the judging panel has finalised the 2026 Roosters Girls team, no further correspondence will be entered into regarding selection decisions.
