Coach Boyd Cordner has named his team, who currently sit 1st on the competition ladder, to play 12th placed Cronulla-Sutherland at Woolooware on Saturday. The match kicks off at 3.15 pm.

Unfortunately, Rex Bassingthwaite (wrist) was injured in the match against Newcastle last weekend and his spot will again by filled by the very capable Zaylen Ekepati, from the Central Coast Roosters Laurie Daley Cup team.

Sydney Roosters Indigenous Academy Tarsha Gale Cup Team (Round 5):

The competition leaders have the bye this weekend after winning their opening four matches.

Coach Keeley Davis will choose her side for their Round 6 clash with the 10th placed Canberra Raiders on Tuesday, 10th March.

Central Coast Roosters Lisa Fialoa Cup Team (Round 5):

The Roosters, who are currently 5th on the competition ladder, have the bye this weekend after winning three of their opening four matches.

Central Coast Roosters Laurie Daley Cup Team (Round 6):

Coach Damian Hargreaves has named his team, which currently sit 2nd on the northern conference competition ladder, to play the 3rd placed Newcastle-Maitland Region Knights at Woy Woy. The match kicks off at 10.50 am.

However, Hargreaves has not been able to finalise the team so some positions won’t be filled until later in the week.

We do know that five eighth Zaylen Ekepati is required for duty with the Sydney Roosters S.G. Ball Cup team and he’ll be replaced by Kai Hodges. Hodges’ bench spot goes to Kobie Flanders. Taj Gooley goes from the centres to the bench with Archie Hall dropping off the bench.

Also, Jesse Norton moves from the bench to replace Keanu Moimoi, who returns to the bench. Zach Herring goes from 18th man to the bench to take the bench spot of Sionelote Talakai.

The winner of this match will qualify for the 2026 semi finals, whilst the loser’s season will come to an end. A draw will also be sufficient to qualify the Roosters.

Bench prop Jack Sotham and starting prop Taj Howarth swap spots whilst on the bench Vailala Fekitoa replaces Kade Townsend.

The Roosters will need to win this match by 12 points or more to qualify for the 2026 semi finals. A loss, a draw or a win by a smaller margin, will see the Roosters bow out for the season.
