The Sydney Roosters have named the side for a blockbuster Round 2 clash against arch-rivals the South Sydney Rabbitohs this Friday night at Allianz Stadium.

The Roosters return home for one of rugby league’s fiercest rivalries as the clubs meet once again under the lights in Moore Park to fight it out for the Ron Coote Cup.

Coach Trent Robinson has named a strong side for the contest, with the Tricolours looking to build momentum in front of a packed home crowd.

Notably, Robert Toia returns to the centres, recovering from a foot injury that sidelined him in Round 1.

Friday night’s showdown promises another chapter in the historic rivalry, with the Tricolours eager to deliver a big performance at their home ground, Allianz Stadium, while also celebrating a major milestone for Angus Crichton, who is set to play his 200th NRL game in front of the Roosters faithful.
