The Sydney Roosters have today announced the launch of their Stand Up To Hate campaign, which will be officially unveiled at Allianz Stadium this evening as part of the Club’s Multicultural Round celebrations.
Following the tragic attack on the Jewish and Bondi community last December, the Sydney Roosters, in partnership with the NSW Government, have developed a powerful and inclusive campaign calling on Australians to reject intolerance and reaffirm the unity and respect that define our proud multicultural and interfaith community.

The campaign video features Roosters Chairman Nick Politis AM, Head Coach Trent Robinson, NRL Captain James Tedesco, NRLW Vice-Captain Olivia Kernick and player Corban Baxter, former captain and Club Ambassador Anthony Minichiello, NSW Premier Chris Minns, NSW Minister for Sport Steve Kamper, boxer George Kambosos Jr., Bondi Beach lifeguard Bruce Hopkins, and Allianz Stadium CEO Kerrie Mather.
Sydney Roosters CEO Joe Kelly said the campaign reflects the Club’s commitment to standing alongside its community.
“The attack at Bondi Beach deeply impacted our community, and this campaign is about coming together to stand against hate and division,” said Kelly.

“As a Club, we are proud to represent a diverse and inclusive community, and we hope this message encourages all Australians to respect and support one another,” he added.
NSW Premier Chris Minns said: “NSW is strongest when we stand together, and this campaign sends a clear message that there is no place for hate or division in our community.
“The Sydney Roosters have brought people together in a powerful way to reinforce the values of respect, inclusion and unity that define our state.
“After the horrific antisemitic terror attack on Bondi Beach only a couple of months ago, it is more important than ever that we back initiatives like this that promote understanding and bring our state together.”
The Roosters extend their thanks to Venues NSW and all those involved in bringing the campaign to life.
“We are confident Australians will stand up, take action and champion the true Australian spirit – one built on inclusion, respect and unity,” said Kelly.
The campaign video will be played at all Sydney Roosters home games and shared nationally across broadcast and digital platforms.
