The Sydney Roosters have named their side for Saturday’s Round 6 clash against the Cronulla Sharks, with the Tricolours travelling to Perth for a 5:30pm showdown at Optus Stadium.
The Roosters enter the round sitting 10th on the ladder, while the Sharks hold a place inside the top eight in 6th after five rounds of the 2026 season.
Cronulla have built a strong start to the year with three wins from their opening five matches, showing attacking strike and the ability to control games when in front.
James Tedesco will captain the side from fullback, with Daniel Tupou and Mark Nawaqanitawase named on the wings. Hugo Savala has been named to replace the injured Billy Smith in the centres, partnering Robert Toia, while Daly Cherry-Evans and Sam Walker steer the side in the halves.
Victor Radley returns at lock after serving his suspension, adding grit, edge and leadership through the middle. A key part of the Roosters forward pack his inclusion adds presence around the ruck. He lines up alongside Naufahu Whyte and Lindsay Collins, with Reece Robson at hooker and Angus Crichton and Siua Wong on the edges.
Connor Watson, Spencer Leniu, Nat Butcher and Salesi Foketi have been named on the interchange, providing impact through the middle and versatility around the ruck. The extended bench also includes Cody Ramsey, Tommy Talau, Benaiah Ioelu, Egan Butcher and Blake Steep.
With Cronulla building consistency early and the Roosters looking to climb back into the top eight, Saturday’s clash shapes as an important test under lights in Perth.
