Three Roosters teams are in action in the second week of the junior representative finals, with the Sydney Roosters S.G. Ball Cup team enjoying the week off.

Sydney Roosters S.G. Ball Cup Team (Week Two Finals):

The Sydney Roosters, who finished 3rd on the competition ladder at the conclusion of the regular season, with seven wins and one loss, will have the weekend off after the Boyd Cordner coached team defeated 2nd placed Melbourne Storm 56-6 in their qualifying final last Saturday.

The Roosters will take on the winner of the semi-final between minor premiers South Sydney and 5th placed Parramatta in a preliminary final at Leichhardt Oval on the Anzac Day weekend.

Central Coast S.G. Ball Cup Team:

The Central Coast Roosters season is over. The team, coached by Adam McEwan, finished in 17th place on the competition table, with one win and seven losses.

Sydney Roosters Harold Matthews Cup Team (Week Two Finals):

The Sydney Roosters, who finished 6th on the competition ladder at the conclusion of the regular season, with five wins and three losses, play 3rd placed Penrith on Saturday in their semi-final at HE Laybutt Field, Blacktown, after defeating 7th placed Manly-Warringah 26-6 last weekend in week one of the finals. The match kicks off at 11.30 am.

The teams clashed back in the opening round of the competition when the Panthers beat the Roosters 32-10.

Coach Paul Momirovski has named his team for this Week Two Finals clash. There are no changes to the team that beat the Sea Eagles, with right centre Andy Toia named after missing the final phase of last Saturday’s game.

Central Coast Roosters Harold Matthews Cup Team:

The Central Coast Roosters season is over. The team, coached by Ryan Southam, finished in 17th place on the competition table, with one win and seven losses.

Sydney Roosters Indigenous Academy Tarsha Gale Cup Team (Week Two Finals):

Minor Premiers the Sydney Roosters Indigenous Academy, who finished the regular season with seven wins and one loss, play 5th placed Penrith on Saturday in their semi-final at HE Laybutt Field, Blacktown, after losing to 4th placed Cronulla-Sutherland 20-18 last weekend in week one of the finals. The match kicks off at 10.00 am.

The teams clashed back in the opening of the competition when the Roosters beat the Panthers 34-4.

Coach Keeley Davis has named her team for this Week Two Finals clash.

Tyra Dymock (hip drop) has been suspended for one match. As a result, Felila Fakalelu moves from the bench to take Dymock’s starting prop spot and Kiri-Kowhai Ned goes from 18th player to the interchange bench, replacing Fakalelu. Lahni Morre, who missed last weekend’s final with a collarbone injury, has been named as 18th player.

Hooker Mahlie Cashin (knee) has not been named.

Central Coast Roosters Lisa Fialoa Cup Team (Week Two Finals):

The Central Coast Roosters, who finished 4th on the competition ladder at the conclusion of the regular season, with six wins and two losses, play 8th placed Wersts Tigers on Saturday in their semi-final at HE Laybutt Field, Blacktown, after losing to minor premiers Parramatta 28-18 last weekend in week one of the finals. The match kicks off at 10.00 am.

The teams clashed in the final round of the competition when the Roosters beat the Wests Tigers 18-8.

Coach Jayme Fressard has today named her team for this Week Two Finals clash.

Equal leading season try scorer Sienna Kennedy-Wilkie is out, having failed an HIA last match. Her spot on the left wing has been taken by Alissa McNair. London Nowers returns in the second row replacing Leilani Mareko, who goes back to the bench at the expense of Chloe Oliver.

Talia Berryman and Isabella Newton are also back, taking the bench spots of Levayah Bower and Shania Aiolupotea, whilst Jessica Boreham-Cole replaces Bonnie Hardman as 18th player.

Morgan Kernick (concussion) has not been named, after missing last week’s final against Parramatta too.
