Roosters Name Squad for Round 7 Clash with Knights

The Sydney Roosters have named their squad for Sunday afternoon’s Round 7 clash against the Newcastle Knights at Allianz Stadium.

Kick-off is set for 2:00pm as the Tricolours return home looking to build momentum after their win against the Sharks in Perth.

Captain James Tedesco will once again lead the side from fullback, with Daniel Tupou and Mark Nawaqanitawase named on the wings. Hugo Savala lines up in the centres alongside Robert Toia, continuing his run in the starting side.

Daly Cherry-Evans and Sam Walker have been named in the halves for Round 7.

Up front, Naufahu Whyte and Lindsay Collins headline the forward pack, with Reece Robson at hooker. Angus Crichton and Siua Wong take their place on the edges, while Victor Radley slots in at lock, bringing his trademark grit and energy through the middle.

Connor Watson, Spencer Leniu, Nat Butcher and Salesi Foketi have been named on the interchange bench, offering impact across the park.

The extended squad includes Cody Ramsey, Tommy Talau, Benaiah Ioelu, Egan Butcher and Billy Smith.

In Round 7, the Sydney Roosters will celebrate Junior Round, with a strong focus on families and the next generation of Tricolours fans.

A Junior Skills Clinic will take place prior to gates opening at Upper Kippax, exclusive to Junior Members. To register your child, CLICK HERE.

As part of Junior Round, kids aged 15 and under get in free with a paying adult ticket. Up to two free junior tickets are available per paying adult, valid in Category 2 or General Admission seating areas only. Tickets must be purchased online and are available until allocations are exhausted.

There will be plenty happening across the day, including giveaways and a special lap of the field at half-time for Junior Clinic participants. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and take advantage of the Kids Combo, featuring a Stadium Dog, small chips and water for $14, available at all outlets throughout Allianz Stadium.

The Roosters will be looking to make a statement on home soil as they take on a Knights side eager to challenge in Round 7.
