Teams have been named for Sunday’s NSWRL senior representative rugby league fixtures. Both Roosters teams will play the Canberra Raiders at Wentworth Park.
NSW Cup Team (Round 9):
Coach Brett Morris has named his team, who currently sit 3rd on the competition table, to play 13th placed Canberra Raiders at Wentworth Park on Sunday. The match kicks off at 2.45 pm.
Five eighth Reece Foley and props Taylor Losalu and Kanaan Magele are all suspended for one match each. Jake Elliott returns to the team at five eighth to replace Foley. Jaxson Rahme moves from the bench to take Losalu’s prop spot, with Cook Islands international Rhys Dakin is added to the bench, for his first NSW Cup match of the season, to take Rahme’s spot. Magele’s bench spot goes to Max McCathie, who missed last week’s match with a hip injury.
Hayden Barton (shoulder), who lasted less than 18 minutes last Sunday, is replaced by Aston Warwick at right edge, with Jaxson Allen recalled to the squad to take Warwick’s bench spot. Ben Johnson (18th man) and Lachlan Dooner (19th man) make up the full match day squad at this stage.
Junior Tupou, who made a successful return last Sunday from an ankle injury, has been named again at left centre.

Jersey Flegg Cup Team (Round 9):
Coach Anthony Barnes has named his team, who currently sit 12th on the competition table, to play 8th placed Canberra Raiders at Wentworth Park on Sunday. The match kicks off at 12.30 pm.
Back rower Lachlan Dooner have been elevated to the extended NSW Cup squad and has not been named. Lock Josiah Fesolai is also out, whilst five eighth Jake Elliott and hooker Jaxson Allen have been named in the Flegg Cup team, but given they are also named in the NSW Cup 17 they may be withdrawn from Flegg. Replacements for these players, where required, will be named closer to the 11.30 am cut off on Sunday. The remainder of the team is unchanged.
Josiah Fesolai (hand) joins Jackson Stewart, Enzo Giffier, Jackson Pennell, Jackson De Lisle and Aholoka Toia amongst the players currently sidelined with injury, and therefore unavailable again for this Sunday’s Flegg Cup clash.
