Medical Update | Round 9

The Sydney Roosters NRL squad has been assessed following the Club’s Round 9 match against the Brisbane Broncos.

Mark Nawaqanitawase was taken from the field in the 26th minute of the match with a syndesmosis injury. He has undergone surgery and will now commence rehabilitation under the guidance of the Club’s medical staff.

Lindsay Collins was taken from the field in the 14th minute for a HIA, which he failed, and will now undergo standard HIA protocol.

Angus Crichton sustained a minor MCL sprain and will continue to work closely with the Club’s medical staff, with his availability to be guided by his progress.

Billy Smith has recommenced team training following his knee injury.

Scans have confirmed that Blake Steep sustained an ACL injury in the Club’s Round 9 NSW Cup match.

Tommy Talau is continuing  rehabilitation  for a calf injury. 

Lachlan Dooner will undergo shoulder stabilisation surgery today.
