Teams have been named for Saturday’s NSWRL senior representative rugby league fixtures. Both Roosters teams will play the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on Saturday.
NSW Cup Team (Round 10):
Coach Brett Morris has named his team, who currently sit 4th on the competition table, to play 8th placed Canterbury-Bankstown at Belmore Sports Ground on Saturday. The match kicks off at 2.15 pm.
Five eighth Reece Foley returns from suspension, replacing Jake Elliott. In the forwards, the luckless Blake Steep, who ruptured his ACL last weekend playing at left edge, is replaced by the returning Max McCathie (hip).
Kanaan Magele returns from suspension to take the starting prop spot of Jaxson Rahme, who moves to his regular lock spot, with Benaiah Ioelu called up for NRL duty.
Hooker Jaxson Allen moves back to the bench replacing Michael Coleman. The starting hooker spot won’t be determined until after Friday night’s NRL fixture. That fixture will also determine the final two bench spots, which have also been left vacant for now. Coleman, Malloy and Rhys Dakin drop off the NSW Cup bench from last Sunday, with Malloy and Coleman named to play for Glebe in their Ron Massey Cup fixture on Saturday. Taylor Losalu is due back from suspension but at this stage is part of the Round 10 NRL squad. Tommy Talau (calf) and Hayden Barton (shoulder) remain sidelined.
S.G. Ball Cup Grand Final hero Rex Bassingthwaighte has been named as 18th man, as he nears his NSW Cup debut.

Jersey Flegg Cup Team (Round 10):
Coach Anthony Barnes has named his team, who currently sit 12th on the competition table, to play 5th placed Canterbury-Bankstown at Belmore Sports Ground on Saturday. The match kicks off at 12.00 pm.
However, with uncertainty surrounding the make-up of the NSW Cup team and injury clouds over some of the Jersey Flegg Cup squad members, the positions of right wing, five eighth, left edge forward, lock forward and two bench spots can’t be finalised currently.
Left edge Jackson Pennell, who played his first match of the season on Sunday, was injured in a hip drop tackle during the game against Canberra and has not been named for the Bulldogs clash, pending further medical inspection.
At this stage Jackson De Lisle, who returned to the team last week after a number of weeks out, will move from lock to prop, forcing Austyn Ah Toon-Hotene back to the bench and any other changes from last week’s side will be finalised at 11.00 am on Saturday.
