Senior Reps Teamlist | 30th May, 2026

Teams have been named for Saturday’s NSWRL senior representative rugby league fixtures. Both Roosters teams will play the Melbourne Storm in Melbourne.

NSW Cup Team (Round 13):

Coach Brett Morris has named his team, who currently sit 4th on the competition table, to play 14th placed Melbourne Storm in Melbourne on Saturday. The match, which is played as a curtain raiser to the NRL clash between the same two clubs, kicks off at 4.45 pm.

With the NRL side playing immediately following this match, the NSW Cup team won’t have access to any of those players in the final 19-man NRL squad for this match, whilst injuries to NRL wingers Mark Nawaqanitawase and Daniel Tupou will also require two NSW Cup players to be on NRL duty and therefore unavailable to play NSW Cup. Further, Tommy Talau (calf), Ben Johnson (knee) and Hayden Barton (shoulder) remain on the sideline along with Blake Steep (knee) and Lachlan Dooner (shoulder), who have season ending injuries.

Finally, with six Roosters NRL players engaged in Wednesday’s State of Origin match, a number of Roosters NSW Cup players are also on stand-by for NRL duty, depending on how many players get through the representative fixture. This leads to further uncertainty surrounding the final make-up of Saturday’s NSW Cup team.

The NSW Cup team does get back Junior Pauga from NRL duty, who comes into the side on the left wing, replacing Trey Peni, who has been named as the 18th man. Five eighth Jake Elliott drops back to Jersey Flegg Cup, but his replacement is yet to be named, whilst Michael Coleman’s replacement at hooker is likely dependent on Benaiah Ioelu’s involvement in Saturday’s NRL clash.

Darcy Smith, who turns 19 on Saturday, moves from the bench to take the starting spot on the left edge, with Aston Warwick returning to the bench.

Finally, on the bench Itula Seve is another player unavailable, and he is replaced by 17 year old prop Charleston Te Rore, who made his NSW Cup debut in Round 10.

Jersey Flegg Cup Team (Round 13):

Coach Anthony Barnes has named his team, who currently sit 11th on the competition table, to play 12th placed Melbourne Storm at Gosch's Paddock in Melbourne on Saturday. The match kicks off at 3.00 pm. The team hasn’t played since a narrow defeat to the Bulldogs in Round 10.

Lachlan Dooner, Jackson Stewart, Enzo Giffier, Lui Lee, Jackson De Lisle, Jackson Pennell and Aholoka Toia remain on the injured list, whilst Kanaan Magele and Jaxson Allen are on higher grade duty, together with other Jersey Flegg eligible players Rex Bassingthwaighte, Reece Foley, Darcy Smith and Charleston Te Rore. Itual Seve is also unavailable to play this weekend.

The team, however, does get Josiah Fesolai (hand) back from injury. He has been named at hooker, replacing Zac Gillett. Lance Tovio moves from right centre to the back row, replacing Jack Ewer, whilst Eddy Cayless moves from the bench to replace Jayden Missio at lock forward. The other confirmed change sees props Austyn Ah Toon-Hotene and Peter Benjamin Uini swap roles, with Toon-Hotene named to start this week.

With uncertainty surrounding the final make-up of both the NRL and NSW Cup teams, due to Wednesday’s Sate of Origin fixture, the Jersey Flegg Cup team list will not be finalised until 2.00 pm on Saturday. Currently, there is no halfback (replacing Carter Mareko) or right centre named, whilst currently Peter Benjamin Uini is the only confirmed bench player.
