The Sydney Roosters are pleased to announce that NRLW forward Otesa Pule has extended her contract with the Club for a further two seasons, keeping her at the Tricolours through to the end of 2028.
Since joining the Roosters, Pule has established herself as one of the competition’s most damaging middle forwards, earning representative honours for Queensland and the Kiwi Ferns.
Pule played a key role in Queensland’s recent Women’s State of Origin campaign, scoring a try on debut and bringing impact through the middle with her powerful carries, defensive presence and relentless work rate across the series.
Sydney Roosters NRLW Head Coach John Strange said Pule’s extension was an important retention for the Club.
“Otesa has developed into one of the most consistent and respected middle forwards in the game,” said Strange.
“She’s a player who leads through her actions. The way she competes, prepares, and puts the team first sets a strong example for those around her.
“Her performances at both NRLW and representative level have shown the quality she brings, but we also value the person she is within our environment. We’re really pleased to have her continuing with the Roosters for another two seasons,” he added.
Pule said she was excited to continue her journey with the Tricolours.
“I’ve loved my time at the Roosters and I’m really grateful for the belief the Club has shown in me,” Pule said.
“We’ve built something really special within this group and I’m excited to continue being part of it over the next few years. I’m looking forward to continuing to grow my game and chasing success with this team,” she added.
