Senior Reps Teamlist | 27th – 28th June, 2026

Teams have been named for this weekend’s NSWRL senior representative rugby league fixtures, highlighted by Regional Magic Round in the NSW Cup.

NSW Cup Team (Round 17):

Coach Brett Morris has named his team, who currently sit 11th on the competition table, to play 4th placed South Sydney on Saturday at Scully Park, Tamworth. The match kicks off at 3.00 pm.

With Tommy Talau, Rex Bassingthwaighte, Egan Butcher and Benaiah Ioelu on NRL duty in Brisbane and Junior Pauga (ribs) joining Blake Steep, Ben Johnson, Tom Rodwell, Cody Ramsay and Lachlan Dooner on the injured list, the NSW Cup team will again be missing a number of players.

However, half back Toby Rodwell makes a much welcome returns after missing the last two matches, whilst his halves partner will be confirmed later in the week. Owen Flaherty moves from five eighth to fullback to make room for Foley, which sees Jackson Stewart move from fullback to right wing to replace the injured Junior Pauga. Toby Rodwell comes in for Jake Elliott.

Replacements for Junior Tupou at left centre, Trey Peni on the left wing, Benaiah Ioelu at hooker and bench forward Charleston Te Rore will be finalised at 2.00 pm on Saturday.

Jersey Flegg Cup Team (Round 17):

Coach Anthony Barnes has named his team, who currently sit 11th on the competition table, to play the 7th placed South Sydney at Wentworth Park on Sunday. The match kicks off at 12.30 pm.

However, the two wing spots played by E.J. Mahu-Delamere (right) and Kade Maguire (left) last weekend, the hooking role performed last Sunday by Liam Bell, the right edge backrow spot of Julius Mitchell and the bench spot of Kynan Toevai could not be confirmed on Tuesday.

All other players that were part of the team that won on Sunday have been named in the same positions. The team will be finalised at 11.30 am on Sunday.

The Roosters continue to be without a plethora of eligible players due to a significant injury list and a large number of players selected in higher grades. Despite these absentees the team has put together back-to-back wins, against the odds, and will be attempting a third successive win against the Rabbitohs on Sunday.
