Roosters sign Sariah Paki for 2026 NRLW season

The Sydney Roosters are pleased to announce the signing of Sariah Paki for the 2026 NRLW season.

Paki joins the Club after an accomplished rugby union career that has seen her represent Australia on the international stage as a member of the Australian Women's Sevens program. A dual Olympian, Paki represented Australia at both the Tokyo and Paris Olympic Games and was part of the Australian side that claimed gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens.

The 24-year-old, who recently featured with the NSW Waratahs in Super Rugby Women's, brings elite athleticism, speed and high-performance experience to the Roosters' NRLW squad.

Sydney Roosters NRLW Head Coach John Strange said Paki's arrival would add another exciting dimension to the Club's roster.

“Sariah is an outstanding athlete who has performed at the highest level of rugby on the international stage and we're excited to welcome her to the Roosters,” said Strange.

“She's achieved a lot in rugby union through the Australian Sevens program and brings valuable experience from some of the biggest competitions in world sport.

“We're looking forward to helping her transition into rugby league and seeing the impact she can have within our squad this season,” he added.
