A massive Saturday of action as the race to the finals hots up with State of Origin in the rear-view mirror.
Plenty of Origin stars will back up including Sharks duo Addin Fonua-Blake and Blayke Brailey who played their part in a stunning 66-0 demolition of the Dolphins at Kayo Stadium.
The 66-point margin goes into the history books as the biggest win in Cronulla's 59-year history and lifts the Sharks into third spot for the time being.
From there we headed to Sydney where the Raiders made a statement with a slashing 40-16 win over the Bulldogs.
Halfback Ethan Sanders turned on a kicking masterclass as he came up with three try assists and 495 kick metres.
We bring it home in Roosters territory with Trent Robinson's men hosting a Parramatta outfit that continues to dig deep in the face of a horror injury toll?
A special occasion at Allianz Stadium as Roosters legend Daniel Tupou plays his 300th career game.

Dan's the man: 300-gamer Daniel Tupou put his hand up for 13 runs in the first half and racked up 145 metres.
Half-time: Despite having just 42 per cent of possession and having to make an extra 42 tackles, the Eels trail by just four points. The Roosters ran for 358 more metres than the Eels but they could manage just the one try.
39 min: The Eels hang on again as Jack Williams' shot on Hugo Savala forces an error.

24 min: Josh Addo-Carr gets a shot at the corner but his foot touches the sideline just before he launched himself.

Robert Toia Try
16 min: Another piece of Marky Mark magic as he staves off three defenders and sends a miracle flick pass back inside for Rob Toia to score. Nawaqanitawase looked certain to be bundled into touch but somehow got the ball back inside for his centre to score. Hugo Savala fails to convert. Roosters 4-0
14 min: A powerful charge by Spencer Leniu has the Roosters in the red zone and Daly Cherry-Evans kicks for the corner for Mark Nawaqanitawase but the Eels manage to bat it away.
10 min: A slicing run by Cody Ramsey from deep in his own territory puts the Roosters on the attack but a mistake by Hugo Savala lets the air out of the balloon.
8 min: Connor Watson darts out of dummy half from close range but the Eels shut him down and the ball spills free. Parra scrum.
8 min: Rob Toia tries to slip a pass in traffic, the ball spills free and is kicked ahead by Daly Cherry-Evans who follows through to score but a double knock-on is ruled by the bunker and the 'try' is ruled out.
7 min: A dropped ball by Brian Kelly in a three-man tackle has the Eels under all sorts of pressure.
6 min: Daly Cherry-Evans goes in search of a 40-20 but the ball goes out just short of the 20m line.
4 min: The Roosters are hot on the attack but Jack de Belin comes up with a timely intercept to bring the Eels out of trouble.
Late Mail
Roosters: Coach Trent Robinson has opted for Cody Ramsey at fullback to replace James Tedesco, who suffered a head knock on the stroke of half-time in Wednesday's Origin decider. Blues winger Mark Nawaqanitawase is a confirmed starter while the club's remaining Origin players Sam Walker and Reece Robson will be rested. Club legend Daniel Tupou is set to make his 300th NRL appearance in his return from a calf injury.
Eels: No further game day changes after coach Jason Ryles confirmed on Friday that halfback Mitchell Moses would miss the game due to a corked thigh with Jonah Pezet taking his place alongside Ronald Volkman in the halves. “Mitch will miss out this week but will be good to go after the bye," Ryles said. Araz Nanva is set to start at centre after Sean Russell was ruled out with a quad injury.

Follow me, boys: Raiders skipper Joe Tapine was magnificent with 131 metres from 15 runs in 50 minutes of quality game time. Tapine also made 29 tackles and came up with a number of big plays as the Raiders stood tall.
Tapine stops O'Sullivan in his tracks
Full-time: A thumping win for the Green Machine as they join Wests Tigers and the Storm on 18 competition points to keep their slim finals hopes alive. Owen Pattie was the standout with his pair of 40-20s while Joe Tapine was also immense for the victors.
Connor Tracey Try
80 min: The Dogs have the last word after Sean O'Sullivan puts Jaeman Salmon into a hole and he offloads for Connor Tracey to score. Matt Burton converts. Raiders 40-16
76 min: Bronson Xerri grubbers for himself but Joe Tapine gets back to clean up and offloads for Xavier Savage. A huge play by Tapine who refuses to clock off in the closing minutes despite the scoreline.
74 min: Jaeman Salmon comes up with a poor kick on the last tackle and Jed Stuart cleans it up easily.
Matt Burton Try
71 min: A consolation try for the Bulldogs as Jacob Preston delivers the final pass for Matt Burton to cross on the left edge. Burton converts. Raiders 40-10

65 min: Ethan Strange comes up with a one-on-one steal from Jacob Kiraz just 10m out from the Bulldogs line.
Concern for injured Stephen Crichton
64 min: Bulldogs skipper Stephen Crichton leaves the field on the medicab. Crichton went to the left and was clipped by Noah Martin in a seemingly innocuous tackle but he slumped to the turf and did not move for several minutes. There are fears it may be a nerve issue in his neck.
61 min: Tom Starling enters the field in his 150th career game.
60 min: Jacob Kiraz tries to bring the ball out of trouble with a weaving run but he goes behind Connor Tracey and is pinged for obstruction. Ethan Sanders adds another two points. Raiders 36-4
58 min: Another Ethan Sanders kick comes down in the in-goal and Jed Stuart gets a clean catch at the ball but can't control the catch. Bulldogs 20m tap.
Zac Hosking 3rd Try
54 min: Zac Hosking makes it a hat-trick as the Bulldogs fail to contest a high ball, Xavier Savage toes the ball ahead, it lands with Owen Pattie and he offloads for Hosking to make it two tries in two minutes and three for the night. Ethan Sanders converts. Raiders 34-4
Zac Hosking 2nd Try
52 min: Zac Hosking surges past Leo Thompson, Jack Underhill and Bailey Hayward to score under the sticks. Ethan Sanders converts. Raiders 28-4
What a kick from Pattie
51 min: Another 40-20 from Owen Pattie to get the Raiders out of jail after a set in which they had only made 26 metres.
49 min: Ethan Sanders again launches a spiral bomb but Jethro Rinakama stands tall with a safe catch.
47 min: Ethan Strange gets his first taste of action for the night backing up from Origin Three. Daine Laurie moves to the middle.
Ratu Rinakama Try

43 min: A kick from Lachlan Galvin draws a mistake from Jed Stuart and the Bulldogs are on the attack.
Stat sheet dominance: The Raiders had a whopping 63 per cent of possession and completed 16 of 21 sets at 76 per cent while the Bulldogs completed at just 64 per cent. The Raiders racked up 891 run metres to 465 for the Dogs.
Half-time: A stunning opening 40 minutes from the Raiders with young playmaker Ethan Sanders standing tall with two try assists, one line break assist and 226 kick metres. Sanders gave Bulldogs winger Jethro Rinakama nightmares with several spiral bombs as the Green Machine took control.
37 min: Another short dropout by Matt Burton looks to have brought a result for the Bulldogs when the ball ends up with Jaeman Salmon but Jacob Kiraz is penalised for being in front of the kicker. Ethan Sanders knocks over the easy shot. Raiders 22-0.
36 min: Connor Tracey sweeps around the back but comes up with another error as the Bulldogs are up to eight errors for the night.
34 min: The big men look to combine for Canberra as Corey Horsburgh puts Josh Papalii into a hole but the pass is ruled forward.
Another tricky spiral bomb from Sanders
29 min: More drama for Jethro Rinakama as he makes a meal of a high ball and the Raiders are hot on the attack again. The Bulldogs are penalised for not packing the scrum quickly enough. Ethan Sanders bangs over the penalty goal. Raiders 20-0
Crichton frustrated as a try goes begging
28 min: The Bulldogs looks certain to score as Matt Burton and Jethro Rinakama chase through after a well weighted Stephen Crichton grubber but neither can get the ball down and it goes dead off Rinakama's knee.
26 min: Matt Burton's short dropout works out perfectly for the Dogs as it bounces just short of the 10m line and rolls out without a hand being layed on it. Bulldogs ball.
24 min: A spiral bomb by Ethan Sanders proves a nightmare for Jethro Rinakama and he puts it down but Connor Tracey is there to tidy up.
Zac Hosking Try
22 min: Ethan Sanders puts in a pinpoint bomb that comes down on the tryline and Zac Hosking is there to take the catch and dot down for the Raiders' third try. Sanders converts. Raiders 18-0
20 min: Jacob Kiraz is penalised for a dangerous tackle after driving Matt Timoko back. He is ruled to have lifted Timoko into a dangerous position.
Noah Martin Try
17 min: Noah Martin storms into a hole to grab a four-pointer in his return from injury. The pass from Ethan Sanders was a beauty as Stephen Crichton rushed up to try and shut him down. Sanders converts. Raiders 12-0
16 min: A huge play by Owen Pattie as he comes up with a 40-20. The Bulldogs throw in a captain's challenge saying the ball went out just short of the 20m line. The bunker backs the onfield call of 40-20 but the Dogs retain their challenge as replays are inconclusive.
14 min: Daine Laurie grubbers, Lachlan Galvin tries to trap the ball but it bounces into a teammate and the referee rules accidental offside. Raiders scrum.

Xavier Savage Try
9 min: Jethro Rinakama gets over the line with Noah Martin coming across to try and shut him down. The ball comes free, Xavier Savage scoops it up and runs 100 metres to score at the other end. The Bulldogs are left stunned after thinking Rinakama had scored but instead they find themselves behind. Ethan Sanders converts the Savage try. Raiders 6-0
7 min: Xavier Savage is bundled over the sideline in heavy Bulldogs defence and the home side takes over just inside the Canberra half.
4 min: Lachlan Galvin's grubber cannons into the goalpost pad and Harry Hayes scoops the ball up but can't get it down as Ethan Sanders' scramble denies him.
Late Mail
Bulldogs: Bronson Xerri comes into the centres 90 minutes before kick-off with Enari Tuala dropping out due to illness. Kurt Mann will start at hooker and Bailey Hayward goes to the bench in a late swap. Jacob Preston is part of the six-man bench as he returns from a broken arm. Jacob Kiraz has overcome a rib injury and will take his place while skipper Stephen Crichton backs up from Origin Three.
Raiders: Ethan Strange will come from the bench and Daine Laurie starts at five-eighth. Fellow NSW Blue Hudson Young will also come from the bench with Ata Mariota to start. Coby Black joins the interchange bench. A blow for the Green Machine on Friday with Seb Kris suffering a hamstring injury at training. His place is being taken by Jed Stuart. Forward leader Josh Papalii and Noah Martin are on track to return from injury and will provide added punch up front. Youngster Savelio Tamale will play centres in NSW Cup and look to find some confidence after a tough day under the high ball against the Dragons.

Full-time: A bloodbath at Kayo Stadium with the Sharks devouring the Dolphins 66-0. Nicho Hynes with 30 points is now the Sharks record-holder for most points in a game after his 11 goals and two tries. The previous record was held by Brett Kimmorley with 28 points against the Knights in 2002.
Jesse Ramien 2nd Try
79th min: The Sharks are relentless and it's Jesse Ramien going over for his double. They had just denied the Dolphins one of their few promising charges to get points, with a Frank Molo bust through the line sparking some hope. However, once again, Cronulla's defence does not yield and they instead go up the field and pile on more pain. Hynes slots another for 11 goals for the day and it's 66-0.
Nicholas Hynes 2nd Try
74th min: Now it's Nicho Hynes with a double, going over on the right for more points. He kicks his 10th conversion of the afternoon for a 60-0 lead.
Thomas Hazelton Try
71st min: Prop Tom Hazleton will struggle to score an easier try in his career, strolling over untouched under the posts, running from 10 metres out. The Dolphins gave up a six-again from a touch on the ball to give the Sharks more possession but they hardly needed it. Hynes converts again for a 54-0 lead.
Sione Katoa 2nd Try
62nd min: Winger Sione Katoa has a double as well, with the Sharks showing no mercy. They were unlucky not to get through on their left a few plays before through Trindall, who was denied a chance to chase his own kick, earning a penalty. From there, the Sharks swung it out to their right, with the Phins defenders infield. A spectacular put-down just inside and Hynes has no problem with conversion for a 48-0 lead.
61st min: A captain's challenge from the Dolphins on a lost ball by Connelly Lemuelu is unsuccessful, with nothing going the home side's way.
48th min: Sharks are denied a try on the field by the referee for a challenge on a high kick after Nicho Hynes scoops up the scraps and runs over to put the ball down under the posts. The Bunker deems the Cronulla hand in the contest knocks it backwards, so it's a fair try to Hynes. He converts his own try for a 42-0 lead.
Nicholas Hynes Try
52nd min: Back-to-back in rapid time for the Sharks, with Jesse Ramien showing strength at the line to go over. A strong carry from the kick-off, with the Sharks going straight through the middle of the field with their carries to set up this one. Hynes slots it again and it's 36-0.
49th min: The Sharks pick up where they left off and score the opening try of the second half, with KL Iro picking up a double. The Sharks absorbed some attacking pressure of their own goal line as the Dolphins came out with intent, but they kept them out with their goal-line defence. After getting back to their attack zone, the Sharks gained back-to-back sets with an knock on from the Dolphins. A nice short pass at the line from Hynes to his centre sets up another try. Hynes converts and it's 30-0.
Injury alert: Max Plath has limped off the field for the Dolphins.
Stats at the break: The Sharks have been dominant, completing 21/24 for an 87 percent completion rate, while the Dolphins have squandered their chances, with a 63 percent completion from 14/22 sets. Dolphins have made eight first half errors, compared to four from the Sharks.
Half-time: Despite a bit of promise show with a great collection of the ball and line break from Trai Fuller, the Dolphins are not able to convert into points in the first half. The Sharks have dominated the half, making the most of every opportunity handed to them by Dolphins and their errors. Cronulla go to the sheds leading 24-0.
37th min: The Dolphins have their best passage of play since the very start of the game, but are denied again by strong Sharks defence, with Tevita Naufahu sent over the left sideline as he was trying to get over the line. Score remains 24-0 to the Sharks.
32nd min: It's become a predictable pattern for the poor Dolphins home fans, seeing every error from their team punished by an try. A knock on in the middle of the field and the Sharks get the scrum, go on the attack and get another try late in the half, with Trindall again involved, this time with a great pass out wide to Ronaldo Mulitalo. Another conversion from Hynes and it's 24-0 to the Sharks.
Ronaldo Mulitalo Try
27th min: More points for the Sharks, this time on the right side, with another kick in behind the Dolphins. This time it's Sione Katoa with the put down. The Sharks have enjoyed the majority of possession, this time gaining it after forcing the Phins over the sideline. Hynes converts again for an 18-0 lead.
23rd min: Another error from the Dolphins is punished and the Sharks go further in front with KL Iro pouncing on a Braydon Trindall kick into the in-goal, staying just inside the dead ball area. The Bunker takes a proper look at the put down before confirming. Hynes converts again from the sideline and it's 12-0 to the visitors.
17th min: Off the back of the error, the Sharks go the full length of the field and score the opener, with Oregon Kaufusi going over in game 150. Thanks to a six again after the Dolphins were deemed to have knocked on a kick from the Sharks, the visitors were able to keep the pressure up on their line to score. Nicho Hynes converts for a 6-0 lead.
Oregon Kaufusi Try
15th min: The Dolphins miss out on their first opportunity to score as well, with Tom Flegler losing the ball on his way down over the try line, with some good defence from the Sharks, including Billy Burns to help force the error. Score remains 0-0.
9th min: A successful captain's challenge from the Dolphins after they were ruled to have knocked on, with the Bunker seeing it indeed came from the Sharks first.
6th min: Sharks are denied again, with Jesse Ramien forced over the sideline by some committed Dolphins defence. Cronulla are finding getting up to the Dolphins line an easy task at the moment, but are yet to convert to points.
4th min: Will Kennedy is denied the first try of the match after a promising start for the Sharks, with the referee ruling a double movement after he was tackled by Trai Fuller. Score remains 0-0.
Kick off: The Sharks kick off and the Dolphins have first use of the ball at home.
Late Mail
Dolphins: A swap on game day, with Tom Flegler to start at prop, shifting Felise Kaufusi back to the bench. John Fineanganofo drops from the squad. Jack Bostock was one of five Origin stars named in the reserves for the Dolphins, but the NSW winger will miss Saturday's clash after suffering a head knock. Maroons duo Max Plath and Thomas Flegler are confirmed to back up, with coach Kristian Woolf announcing his stars will be back in action at their captain's run. Maroons backline duo Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Selwyn Cobbo will be rested. Bostock's absence will likely see Jake Averillo remain at centre. Interchange forward Ray Stone is also on track to line up after missing last week's loss to Newcastle due to soreness.
Sharks: A game day change, with Addin Fonua-Blake shifting back to the bench, with Oregon Kaufusi to start at prop. Jayden Berrell also moves onto the interchange from the reserves, with Niwhai Puru the player to make way. Queensland forward Briton Nikora left the field late on Wednesday for an HIA. The back-rower passed the test and returned to the action but coach Craig Fitzgibbon said on Friday that Nikora "got knocked around a bit" and would be given a break. NSW duo Blayke Brailey and Addin Fonua-Blake have been added to the starting side on Friday in No.22 and No.23 with Jayden Berrell dropping to the reserves and Jesse Colquhoun sent for scans on Friday for knee inflammation.
