Senior Reps Teamlist | 24th – 25th July, 2026

Teams have been named for this weekend’s NSWRL senior representative rugby league fixtures.

NSW Cup Team (Round 21):

Coach Brett Morris has named his team, who currently sit 8th on the competition table, to play 2nd placed Newcastle Knight on Friday at McDonald Jones Stadium. The match kicks off at 3.30 pm and is the curtain raiser for the NRL clash between the same two clubs on Friday night.

The club is still missing Blake Steep (knee), Ben Johnson (knee) and Dietrich Roache (leg) with injury, whilst Taylor Losalu, Cody Ramsay and Egan Butcher will be on NRL duty on Friday.

The Coach has made four changes to the side that defeated Melbourne last Sunday. Rex Bassingthwaighte and Tommy Talau return from NRL duty, Kanaan Magele (shoulder) from injury, whilst Darcy Smith has earned a recall after playing Jersey Flegg Cup last Sunday.

Bassingthwaighte replaces Owen Flaherty at fullback whilst Talau comes back to the side on the left wing. Subsequently, Junior Pauga moves from left wing to left centre, replacing Jackson Stewart.

Kanaan Magele and Darcy Smith both return via the bench, replacing Itula Seve and Eddy Cayless.

Jersey Flegg Cup Team (Round 21):

Coach Anthony Barnes has named his team, who currently sit 10th on the competition table, to play 11th placed Newcastle Knights at the Newcastle Knights COE on Saturday. The match kicks off at 12.00 pm and is the curtain raiser for the NSW Women’s Premiership clash between the Knights and the Central Coast Roosters on Saturday.

The team continues to be without a plethora of eligible players with an injury list headed by Aholoka Toia, Lachlan Dooner, Lui Lee, Zalyen Ekapati, Zac Sarfati, Jackson Pennell, Jackson De Lisle and Enzo Griffier whilst Toby Rodwell, Reece Foley, Jake Elliott, Kanaan Magele, Charleston Te Rore, Brooklyn Heath, Rex Bassingthwaighte and Darcy Smith have been named in the NSW Cup team.

However, a number of the spots in the team remain to be filled. Darcy Smith has been recalled to the NSW Cup, Josiah Fesolai moves from hooker to lock, replacing Eddy Cayless, and Austyn Ah Toon-Hotene has been named as a starting prop, replacing Itula Seve, after coming off the bench last Sunday.

Positions held last weekend by John-Paul Doneveski (right centre), Darcy Smith (left edge) and Fesolai (hooker) as well as the bench spots of Austyn Ah Toon-Hotene and Jaxson Allen will be confirmed at 11.00 am on Saturday.

Jackson Stewart, Eddy Cayless, Itula Seve, as well as hooker Jaxson Allen, may be amongst those most likely to fill the missing spots.

NSW Women’s Premiership Team (Round 7):

Coach Nathan Anderson has named his team, who currently sit 6th on the competition table, to play 1st placed Newcastle Knights at the Newcastle Knights COE on Saturday. The match kicks off at 2.00 pm.

The Roosters team will feature NRLW squad members Mia Wood (right wing), Nikiah Campbell (right edge), Talea Tonga (halfback), Tatum Bird (hooker) and Taneisha Gray (left edge), as well as development players Te Raukura Leafe (prop), Logan Fletcher (fullback), Mia Vaotu’ua (five eighth) and Anastasia Leatupue (right centre).

Fletcher returns to the side at fullback, which leads to Vaotu’ua moving from fullback to five eighth, Talea Tonga from five eighth to halfback and forcing Aylah McCulloch from the side. Mia Wood also returns to the team, from NRLW duty, which results in Manisha Seebeck dropping to the bench, replacing Amber Hall (NRLW duty).
