Roosters

Full-time: The Roosters have come back from a 12-10 deficit at half-time to run away with a 42-12 win over a plucky Bulldogs side who were looking at one stage to be on track for the upset of the season. The home side's star centre pairing of captain Isabelle Kelly (257 run metres, two try assists) and Jess Sergis (two tries) were again standouts, with 51-gamer Otese Pule also strong in the forwards, crossing for two tries as well. 

69th min: More points for the Roosters as the clock winds down with Jocelyn Kelleher getting a try off a scrum feed 10 metres out for them line. She converts her own try for a 42-12 lead. 

66th min: A double for Jess Sergis in an individual effort to score. Taking the ball on her 20, she runs through some Bulldogs tacklers, then steps through more defenders to streak away and dive in under the posts. Kelleher converts for a 36-12. 

62nd min: An impressive try of a different kind for the Roosters with Mia Wood going over on the right corner after taking a perfectly positioned floating ball over the top out to her edge. Kelleher's attempt misses this one across the face, but her team still leads 30-12. 

58th min: Three quick tries in a row for the Roosters, with Otesa Pule getting her second with an impressive solo effort. Running out and putting on a few fends and some fancy footy, the prop has her double for the game and the season. Kelleher converts this time and it's 26-12. 

56th min: The Roosters go back-to-back with they have a 13 on 12 advantage, with Taina Naividi going over on the far left. Kelleher can't convert from the far sideline, so the score stays 20-12. 

53rd min: The Roosters get the lead back with Millie Elliott finishing off the good work of her captain Isabelle Kelly who runs back in against the grain, busts through some tackles and offloads to to her prop who hurdles over defenders to score next to the posts. Kelleher slots the conversion for a 16-12 lead. 

48th min: Bulldogs back Monica Tagoai goes in report and is sent to the sin bin for a hip drop tackle on Tarryn Aiken. 

36th min: Injury update -  Bulldogs fullback Shanthie Lui is also off for a HIA, the rookie is on her NRLW debut. Update - Lui is good to continue. 

35th min: Injury update - Roosters fullback Corban Baxter has failed her HIA and is ruled out for the rest of the match. 

Half-time: The ladder-leading Roosters go into the sheds trailing for only the third time in the season, with the Bulldogs having a well-deserved 12-10 lead. The Bulldogs have had 56 percent of the possession, completing at 81 percent (13/15), while the Roosters are at 73 percent (11/15). Too many errors from both sides, but the Roosters have made four compared to three from the Bulldogs, with both sides conceded four penalties apiece. 

35th min: Injury alert - Corban Baxter is coming off early for a HIA

32nd min: An impressive try for the Bulldogs with Andie Robinson bringing down a great kick from Preston, beating out defenders like Jess Sergis to draw the scores level just before the break. Preston kicks the conversion to put the Bulldogs in front 12-10. 

25th min: Success for the Bulldogs down their left after nearly scoring thee earlier, with Monica Tagoai getting over the line. The visitors had put together a strong passage of play in the lead up, forcing a drop out and they capitalised. Preston kicks the conversion and the scores are narrowed to 10-6. 

18th min: After being denied only moments early with an error, Jess Sergis goes over for another try for the Roosters, racing away from 30 metres out, coming on to a pass from fullback Corban Baxter. She extends her lead on the top of the leading try scorers tally, taking it to 15. Kelleher can't convert so it stays 10-0. 

12th min: Instead, it's the Roosters to get on the board first, with Otesa Pule, running onto a pass close to the line after Tarryn Aiken helped create the chance with a bust through the defence. Jocelyn Kelleher slots the kick for a 6-0 lead. 

8th min: Simina Lokotui almost gets the first try of the game for the Bulldogs, but Jess Sergis has done just enough to push her across to the sideline, with her foot hitting the line and her getting the ball down simultaneously. Still 0-0. 

4th min: A promising start for the Bulldogs who had completed their first set without error and made a break towards the line through co-captain Tayla Preston, but Olivia Kernick was there to shutdown the danger, grabbing her by the collar and taking her into touch. 

Kick-off: The Roosters kick off to start the final round of the NRLW season. with the Bulldogs getting first use of the ball.

Bulldogs: The Bulldogs line up 1-17 with no late changes. Shanthie Lui comes in at fullback for her NRLW debut, with Andie Robinson to fill in for Ash Quinlan at five-eighth. Elizabeth McGregor comes on to the wing, moving Bridget Hoy to 18th player role. Winger Simina Lokotui has scored nine tries in her last six games.
