Departing Roosters Corban Baxter and Millie Elliott were farewelled in style as the side completed a perfect season with a 30-6 win over the Broncos in the decider.
Last year's grand final combatants met again with a vastly different result, with the Roosters dominating the entire match, outside of a few wobbles at the start of the first half.
It was also the final match in the NRLW for women's rugby league legend Ali Brigginshaw who was unable to add to her four premierships in her final game for the Broncos.

NRLW Press Conference: Roosters v Broncos - Grand Final, 2026
Best of the Broncos: In a game where they struggled to get on the front foot with multiple errors (14), it was tough work for the Broncos throughout. However, captain Tamika Upton did what she could with a try assist, a few last-ditch efforts and 117 run metres. Shannon Mato was the only forward to crack 100 metres with 124. Youngster Deleni Paitai also had a few highlight moments with two try-saving efforts, including the hit of the game.
Player of the Match: Tarryn Aiken earns the Karyn Murphy Medal as player of the match, completing a hugely successful comeback season. The halfback missed last year's decider with an ACL injury, but proved she was a classy as ever in her injury return. Aiken had two try assists and a try of her own as well.

Full-time: Fourth time lucky for the Roosters who have beaten the Broncos in the NRLW decider 30-6. It was a dominant display throughout and could have been a bigger margin with Jocelyn Kelleher only able to convert one of their seven tries. However, her in-game kicking was supreme, as was that of her halves partner Tarryn Aiken, who missed last year. In the forwards, the retiring Millie Elliott was massive as well for the Roosters with 189 run metres as well.
69th min: A captain's challenge from the Broncos is unsuccessful after they asked the question of high contact.
64th min: While it's been an unhappy match for Broncos halfback Jesse Southwell so far, she has the first points for her side after combining with Tamika Upton off a tap, running through the middle of the Roosters in the middle of the field. She converts her own try to break the individual try-scoring record for the season. Roosters lead 30-6.

57th min: And Brydie Parker has a grand final hat-trick. After the game had settled into a rhythm, the Roosters have clicked back into action and find their way over the line again. The winger shows determination to stand her ground and stay inside the line. Another tough kick for Kelleher that hits the uprights and out. Roosters lead 30-0.
Paitai with a huge shot!
50th min: No change to the score with the Broncos showing more of the fight that was expected in the first half. Youngster Deleni Paitai has impressed with two try-saving tackles. Score remains 26-0.
40th min: A win of sorts for the Broncos who somehow hold up Jess Sergis over the line, with skipper Tamika Upton wrapping her up ball and all taking her touch-in-goal. Score remains 26-0.

36th min: An early error from the Broncos was the last thing they needed as they try to fight their way back into the game.
Halftime: The Roosters are well on top after dominating the entire first half - bar the opening minute. The Broncos forced an error from the kick off and then Lillian Yarrow was held up under the posts - but from there, it has been one-way traffic to the minor premiers. A few errors from both sides early, but then the Roosters, through the kicking of Jocelyn Kelleher and Tarryn Aiken, have been on a roll for a 26-0 lead.
32nd min: The procession of Roosters tries continues, with the powerful Amber Hall getting a trademark try, bumping off defenders to get the ball down. Jocelyn Kelleher misses again for 26-0.

27th min: Winger Brydie Parker has an early first-half double and the Roosters are dominating this contest. They force a drop-out, then go to work in attacking the Broncos line, sending the ball out to their right where Parker has to dive over despite the attention of Kerri Johnson. Kelleher can't convert and it's 22-0.
24th min: Ali Brigginshaw is put on report for her attempt to pressure the kicker Aiken.
23rd min: More points for the Roosters with Jayme Fressard over on the far left corner. The Roosters have the ball on a string, Aiken puts it up and Kelly brings it down, then passes it out to her winger to score. Kelleher misses and it stays 18-0.
21st min: The third unanswered try for the Roosters, with skipper Isabelle Kelly going over after a nice wrap play they could set up from a scrum after yet another error from Brisbane. Aiken takes on the line and has players in motion around her to complete the play. Kelleher's attempt is waved away so the scores are 14-0.

17th min: The Broncos have been under assault for the majority of this first half due to their own errors and the pressure finally tells again. Tarryn Aiken gets the bounce of the ball off her own little grubber ahead, rebounding off a Brisbane player back into her arms to dive over and score. Kelleher converts this one and it's 10-0.
5th min: First points of the grand final to Brydie Parker out on the right wing. The Broncos had scrambled well in defence after an error from Julia Robinson put them under pressure - but a nice cross-field kick from Jocelyn Kelleher finds the mark. Kelleher can't convert, so it stays 4-0.

Kick off: An error from the kick off with a Jesse Southwell kick too hard to handle for Jayme Fressard, who passed a fitness test to play.
