In 2013, through Roosters.com.au, we want to take Sydney Roosters Members and Supporters to places theyve never been before. We want to open the doors to our Moore Park office to our loyal fans and let them in on what were doing and why were doing it.

Ted Helliar, Chief Operating Officer Commercial, will provide a monthly update for our Fans on all commercial aspects of the club and any major news or updates.

MEMBERSHIP

Your Membership Team are currently working as hard as ever, with the season fast approaching. We are currently 18% up on Membership numbers, compared to where we were at this point last season, and on track for a bigger and better season than ever before.

With some new faces joining the team, including high profiles names such as Sonny Bill Williams, James Maloney and Michael Jennings, there is plenty of hype around the Roosters in 2013 and we are certainly seeing the benefits and hearing the excitement in ever dealing with Members, new and old.

The Members Loyalty Program, a new initiative for the 2013 season which is rewarding our long-standing members for their years of support and commitment, has proven a huge success so far and the positive response has been overwhelming. We know the value and importance of all of our members and, this season, we want to reward that loyalty in every way we can. As a part of the program, we have had Membership Rings designed for those who have been with us for 10-50+ years. Designed by La-Spina Designer Jeweller, the same jewellers who partnered with us in 2012 to create the official Players Rings, the sterling-silver rings are a fantastic addition to our members benefits and another great way to REPRESENT in 2013.

Weve spent the whole off-season implementing new sales strategies and coming up with exciting plans for all of our members and although we might not be the biggest membership base in the NRL, we know were the most passionate and a team well and truly on the rise.

SPONSORSHIP

Already in 2013 we have welcomed two new Partners in the form of Crinitis Italian Restaurants and Four N Twenty pies. The addition of Crinitis, at the end of 2012, saw the club enter the season with a full complement of apparel sponsorship and the investment of these two, along with our existing Partners, helps to secure the financial future of our proud club for years to come.

Our Sponsorship team have been busily working alongside our valued Partners throughout the off-season to ensure that they are afforded their maximum benefits and return on their generous investment.

Four N Twenty, who have joined as sponsors of our Membership program in 2013, are already working away on an exciting promotion incorporating our history, past players and most importantly you. Make sure to keep your eye out for this upcoming promotion, to be launched alongside the start of the NRL season. You guys will love it, as it is a great example of how we are getting our partners to give back to the fans.

Finally, for those who like to kick back and watch the game in style, there is still Corporate Hospitality available for our home matches this season. For more information on the available boxes and suites, give our team a call or head to the Corporate section of our website. There is also still a handful of Player Sponsorships available for the year ahead, including new boys Michael Jennings and Sonny Bill Williams, and our new Head Coach Trent Robinson.

GAMEDAY

When the boys take the field this season we want them to run out to a sea of Red, White and Blue. And, with three of our biggest matches in the opening half of the season, against the Rabbitohs, Bulldogs and Dragons, theres no reason not to be in the stands at Allianz. We are predicting record crowds in 2013 but for this to happen we need you. The 2012 draw didnt favour us, but its a different story in 2013.

In 2013, we are changing the whole game day experience for our fans. Weve taken note of what fans want and, this season, we will deliver rich football pre-game, half time and post-game content LIVE at the ground for those in the stands.

Taking a leaf out of the NFL, we are adopting a new pre-game panel show that is all about the football and even more so, all about your beloved Roosters.

Hosted by former Rooster and radio personality, Jimmy Smith and including two special guests each week including the likes of Brad Fittler, Luke Ricketson and other legends of our great club GAME DAY LIVE will bring you in depth expert analysis at all of our home games.

Filmed on a news desk, from the Allianz turf, the 30 minute pre-game show will be live on the big screen and deliver weekly content including sportsbet.com.au pricing, game preview, team announcements, social media interaction, player and celebrity interviews, fan engagement competitions and loads more.

DIGITAL / ONLINE

Theres no question that the way of the future is digital and we are committed to ensuring we keep up with this fast-paced and ever-changing world. Weve added to our Digital Team here at Moore Park over the off-season and have planned some exciting initiatives and content for you to view and engage with throughout the year. Its all about fan engagement, getting you behind the scenes and leaving no stone unturned... and having a laugh while we are at it.

We love hearing from our supporters across all of our social platforms and urge you to keep Sharing, Commenting, Replying To and Liking all that we post whether it be on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or on our website. Our motto in 2013 is REPRESENT Your Way, and whether its with a Tweet, a jersey, a membership or a ticket to the game, we want our colours everywhere this year and our fans spreading the word.

ADMINISTRATION

We are now three months into the new-look administration and structure here at the Sydney Roosters, and in 2013 our philosophy is to constantly improve. On the field and off the field we have a vision to bring this great club back to where it belongs at the top.

The return of Brian Canavan as Chief Operating Officer Football, along with Trent Robinson and his coaching staff, has been insightful and refreshing. All you need to do is step foot inside the club to feel the positive energy and optimism.

Its an honour to be involved. Bring on Round 1!

Yours in Red, White and Blue,

Ted Helliar, Chief Operating Officer Commercial
