The Club has today advised the NRL that they will challenge Boyd Cordners grade one striking charge.

Cordner was charged following an incident involving Parramatta forward Matt Ryan in the 55th minute of Friday nights win over the Eels.

The Club has entered a plea of not guilty on Cordners behalf and the vice-captain, along with legal representation, will front the NRL judiciary on Wednesday evening at 6pm.

Cordners team mate Sonny Bill Williams was also charged in the same match with a careless high tackle, also on Parramatta forward Ryan.

Williams will not miss any football after entering the early guilty plea.
