Trent Robinson has made a handful of changes to the side that last Friday night disposed of the Dogs at ANZ Stadium, with the coach being afforded the luxury of three Origin and one international star returning to the selection fold.

NSW Blues trio James Maloney, Michael Jennings and Mitchell Pearce all return to the NRL duty after being unavailable for Round 15 selection due to Origin II.

Their return sees last week's halves pairing of Dan Mortimer and Sonny Bill Williams, along with Mitch Aubusson, all return to their usual roles in the side with Williams and Aubusson named in the backrow and Mortimer in the No.14 jersey on the bench.

Aidan Guerra and Frank-Paul Nuuausala also return to the bench, following their promotion to the starting side in last week's makeshift outfit.

In the final change to the side, Kiwi prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves returns to NRL action following a five-week absence through suspension.

Hargreaves has been recalled straight into the starting side, joining Luke O'Donnell as the starting props and Sam Moa named on the extended bench.

Hargreaves was suspended the last time the clubs met, following a high tackle on Manlys George Rose and will take to the field for the first time since that match next Monday when the clubs meet again.

Hargreaves will start alongside Luke ODonnell in the front row, in a straight swap for the injured Marty Kennedy.

Kennedy suffered a knee injury in the final minutes of last weeks clash with the Bulldogs and will miss 8-12 weeks of action after he underwent surgery earlier this week.

The clash puts two of the NRLs in-form sides against one another in a battle that will potentially see Robinsons side gain a five-point lead on the ladder over this weeks opponents in fourth position.

With four of the best playmakers in the competition facing off, with two of the best backlines outside and most physical forward packs in front of them, this match is truly a Monday night blockbuster not to be missed.
