James Maloney

James suffered a facial injury playing for the NSW Blues in Wednesday nights State of Origin match.

CT scans have today revealed that James has a fractured eye socket, ruling him out of Monday nights Round 16 clash with the Sea Eagles at Allianz Stadium.

James will meet with a specialist tomorrow (Friday) to determine the full extent of the injury and rehabilitation time.

A replacement for James in Monday nights squad will be confirmed on match day (1 July).

Fellow Blues team mates Michael Jennings and Mitchell Pearce have also reported to Roosters HQ today, following Game II, and will take their place after being named in the side to face Manly by coach Trent Robinson last Tuesday.
