The Sydney Roosters extend their condolences to the family of Kevin Ryan who passed away earlier this month.
Kevin’s association with the Roosters (formerly Eastern Suburbs) began 50 years ago. He was one of the club’s first ever kicking coaches, working closely with former coach Barry Van Heekeren (Mocca).
A talented artist, Kevin was also among the first in Australia to design sponsorship signage and run-through banners, including for the Roosters appearance in the 1974 grand final.
It is always sad when we lose supporters who have played such a big part of our history and tradition. A passionate clubman, Kevin will be sadly missed.
