The Sydney Roosters Holden Cup side put in a devastating performance hammering the Gold Coast Titans 46-16 at Allianz Stadium.

The Roosters got off to a flyer scoring three tries in quick succession.

A double from Paul Momirovski and a neat back line movement finished off by Taane Milne had the Tricolours in control from the opening whistle.

Momirovski's first try was particularly impressive, the winger picking up a perfect cross field lobbed kick from Jackson Hastings to touch down.

Whilst the third try took slightly longer to score the rest of the half was absolute carnage.

The home side started to score for fun and eventually led 34-0 at the break.

It would have been easy for the home side to drop the intensity in the second half but to their credit they once again came out the more aggressive and it didn't take long for that to reflect on the scoreboard.

Brendan Elliot was the first to score when he showed great footwork to step inside his defender and dive over for his second.

Displaying his usual toughness and no nonsense attitude, Tyler Cornish stepped and pushed through the line to further extend the lead.

The next period of the game was the Titans best as they managed to stem the flow of points and eventually score two tries of their own through a double to Zac Spring.

A further try to Jayden Connors improved the scoreboard for the visitors but it wasn't enough with the Tricolours running out deserved winners.
