Heath L'Estrange

L'Estrange was ruled out of NRL action for 4-6 weeks on Tuesday after suffering cartilage damage to his left knee in Saturday night's 48-4 win over the Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval.

Starting in just his second match for the season, L'Estrange left the field in the 14th minute and was replaced by Mitchell Aubusson and did not return.

L'Estrange underwent an arthroscope on the injured knee on Wednesday, 19 August and will be unavailable for selection for 4-6 weeks.

 

Samisoni Langi

Langi suffered a high ankle sprain to his left ankle in Newtown's VB NSW Cup Round 23 loss last weekend.

It is expected that he will be unavailable for selection for 3-5 weeks.

 

Jake Friend

Friend suffered a hamstring strain in the side's Round 21 win over the St George Illawarra Dragons, ruling the Vice-Captain out of NRL action for 2-4 weeks.

Friend continues to work closely with the Medical Staff here at Roosters HQ on a lighter training load than the rest of the NRL Squad whilst also undergoing rehab on the injury.

 

Sonny Bill Williams

SBW suffered a fractured thumb in the side's Round 20 loss to the Newcaslte Knights at Hunter Stadium.

Unable to participate in contact drills at training, SBW is currently training on a limited load and is expected to return to NRL action in 1-2 weeks.

 

Siosiua Taukeiaho

Taukeiaho suffered a medial ligament injury to his right knee playing for the Newtown Jets in the NSW Cup and is expected to miss 2-3 more weeks of action, whilst working on a lighter training load than the remainder of the NRL Squad.
