Following the release of the 2016 NRL draw, we asked Members and fans to tell us which games they are looking forward to the most.

The results are in, and we want to go through just how good your top five picks are going to be.

5. COWBOYS | 7.46% VOTES

The fifth highest ranked game is our clash with the defending Premiers, the North Queensland Cowboys.

This is an understandably exciting match-up, and they’ll get the privilege of playing them twice in the upcoming season.

Last year the Roosters played them in the season opener at Townsville, putting on a dominant performance to win convincingly by 24 points.

Much like the 2015 season, they return to 1300 Smiles Stadium in the early part of the season for a Thursday night clash with the Cowboys.

The second meeting will be in Round 23 at Allianz Stadium for the first time since the epic Semi Final in 2014.

Round 3 | Thursday, March 17th, 7:05pm | 1300 Smiles Stadium

Round 23 | TBA @ Allianz Stadium

4. DRAGONS | 10.89% VOTES

One of the most anticipated days on the Roosters fans calendar is Anzac day, when a traditional clash with the Dragons is always a great game full of emotion.

The Anzac Day clash is just one of two clashes with the Dragons in 2016, with the second coming in Round 24 at Allianz Stadium.

Round 8 | Monday, April 25th, 4pm | Allianz Stadium

Round 24 | TBA @ Allianz Stadium

3. WARRIORS | 14.36% VOTES

A big talking point of the 2015 season was young fullback Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.

Though those times are over at the Roosters, he will be welcomed back to Allianz Stadium in Round 5 where a Sunday afternoon blockbuster with the Warriors awaits.

There’s bound to be a bit more feeling from both sides, with no favours handed out in this one.

The second encounter will come 10 weeks later at Mt Smart Stadium.

Round 5 | Sunday, April 3rd, 2pm | Allianz Stadium

Round 15 | Sunday, June 19th, 6pm | Mt Smart Stadium

2. BRONCOS | 14.85% VOTES

The second most anticipated match-up of the upcoming season is the Brisbane Broncos.

The Roosters played two games last season against the Broncos, splitting the series one-a-piece in two closely contested and thoroughly entertaining games.

The Grand Final decider was a different story though, with the Broncos having the last laugh on that occasion.

Whether it’s a case of revenge or to witness more greatness, the people will get their wish in 2016, with two clashes against the Broncos at the back end of the season.

Round 21 | TBA @ Allianz Stadium

Round 26 | TBA @ Suncorp Stadium

1. Rabbitohs | 31.19% VOTES

Without a doubt the favourite clash, the Roosters will face the Rabbitohs in the opening round of the Telstra Premiership, and we’ll be doing so at our house.

It’s the oldest rivalry in the game, and with a history of classic encounters between the two clubs, there is no reason to not be excited about a massive Round 1 battle with the South Sydney side.

With a narrow loss early last year at ANZ Stadium and a 30-0 victory at home, the rivalry will write two new chapters in the new season in the opening 10 rounds.

Round 1 | Sunday, March 6th, 4pm | Allianz Stadium

Round 6 | Friday, April 8th, 7:50pm | ANZ Stadium
