It's almost time for Round 1 of the NRL Telstra Premiership and fans are now deciding the best ways to represent with the Club in 2016.

With plenty of options available to Members, there is only one suggestion that can be made to the fans that like to watch their team loud and among the action.

The Chookpen is for the fans that chant, get creative with signs, wear their colours proudly and show plenty of passion for the red, white and blue jersey.

There are many pros about the infamous Chookpen, besides the passion and love they have for the Roosters.

THEY HELP TO GET THEIR TEAM HOME

Anyone that has ever worn the red, white and blue jersey will tell you the same thing, that the Chookpen is one of the best things about the Allianz Stadium crowd.

"It was absolutely massive for us when I played," said former Roosters Captain Anthony Minichiello.

"They create this atmosphere that is hard to explain.

"If ever we're down and need to be picked up, they're always there in full voice.

'It makes a huge difference."

THEY GET REWARDED

When the Chookpen finish congratulating their team, the team will come and congratulate them back on their 80 minute effort.

This is a photo of Boyd Cordner presenting a Roosters football to a young girl after our Round 24 clash with the Brisbane Broncos last year.

The Roosters know how important this crowd is to them, and that is something they won't take for granted.

IT COMES WITH MEMBERS ONLY PERKS

From Members only meet and greets to pre-purchase opportunity for finals games, the perks of being in the Chookpen goes beyond the best seats and atmosphere.

Don't miss out on your chance to represent with the rest of the pen in 2016.
