Sydney Roosters Club Ambassador and former Captain Anthony Minichiello took to the track of the Sydney Motorsport Park at Eastern Creek last Thursday in support of the Children’s Cancer Institute’s Endure For A Cure event.

Endure For A Cure is a unique 12 hour closed-circuit, endurance cycling challenge where cyclists of all skill levels are welcome to ride in a safe, traffic-free environment to help raise awareness for the Children's Cancer Institute.

Almost 150 riders completed laps of the famous track between 7am and 7pm and the event has to date raised over $300,000 of much needed funds.

In total, 7,372 laps were completed – or 29,488 kilometres – which is almost the equivalent of riding from Sydney to Iceland and back.

The Sydney Roosters are proud to lend support to such a worthy cause as the Children’s Cancer Institute continues their association with the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest, which has raised over $2 million dollars for various Australian Children’s Charities since its inception in 2010.
